The academics are certainly great, but I've learned far more from my peers and their experiences than I have from the classroom. Davis has done a great job of managing to create cohorts that are both diverse (from educational background, to life experience, to race & gender) and cohesive.
The second definitely is the Sacramento & Bay location. While the school is often overlooked by close neighbors Stanford & UC Berkeley, Davis certainly has an "in" with Bay Area companies. The Sacramento location also benefits from being located at the UCD Medical Center (healthcare) and Sacramento (government) in general. We get the perks of being relatively close to the Bay but also the perks of being located directly in the State Capital. -
