Susie Lindner, LMFT, EMDR and Psychotherapy

I had my first child in late 2020 in the midst of the pandemic and struggled with postpartum depression. I was so fortunate to find Susie and become her patient. Though we never met face-to-face in the "real" world, Susie created such a safe and welcoming place to begin healing. In addition to being a genuine and warm person, Susie is the most results-driven therapist I have seen. Working with her is much more of a partnership than a doctor-patient relationship. She really worked with me to identify where I needed support and what techniques were most effective and comfortable for me. She served as a guide and mentor as I embarked on the journey of motherhood in very difficult circumstances and I began to notice improvements almost immediately. She effectively used EMDR to help me process the feelings associated with postpartum depression and gave me the skills I needed to manage them successfully. Susie isn't interested in creating patients for life - I have since "graduated" and am no longer seeing her, but if I need support in the future, I will not hesitate to see her again.

I cannot recommend Susie enough. My child had been through a difficult couple of years, and was on three different medications to curb depression and ADHD symptoms. After just three months of EMDR counseling with Susie, I got my happy child back. He was able to stop all his meds. I could not have dreamed of such a miraculous result and will never forget how she has touched our lives. Susie is compassionate, professional and the best at what she does.
