“Today I had the pleasure of bringing my son who's a Jr. Rider with VeloSport for a bike fit. I never been to a bike fit personally so I didn't know what to expect. Dave measured and checked over my son's riding position and checked over all the essentials like sit bone placement, proper shoe size and width to even the type of shorts he was wearing to make sure he had a good chamois. After some time and proper adjustments to the stem length and height, seat height and position, proper alignment of the cleats on the shoes, and even a bit of coaching with riding position and nutrition.... he was all dialed in. “Extremely helpful and friendly staff with great prices on their service. I came with a wheel repair for tuning, and they first checked to make sure it was serviceable. I brought two wheels in, and they said only one needed tuning, which was great. They also talked me through any questions I had, such as the different spoke options and costs/benefits of each type (bladed vs standard spokes). Once I came back to pick it up, I also browsed the store because why not. There were a couple of employees who asked if I needed anything, and they were more than happy to direct me to specific bike parts. Very happy with the staff, and I'll definitely be constantly coming back.”

“Great service! I was out for ride in Walnut Creek. We stopped in to Sports Basement for some accessories and got out on the trail. My bike chain kept jumping and I could not enjoy the ride. I thought the day was a loss. So we went back to Sports Basement to drop off the bike. Much to my surprise, one of the team members just put it up on the stand to see if they could get it tweaked in to shape real quick. The derailleur hanger was bent but more seriously, I had a frozen chain link. After swapping the chain out, I was back on the trail. They could have easily just let me drop if off for service but went the extra mile and saved my day. Just awesome. Thank you so much!”
