It’s close to the highway, about 5-7 mins. I didn’t have much phone service at the sight with Verizon, but my partner did with AT&T. I definitely recommend for a quick getaway or family vacation!”

“I got a lakeside campsite in late August. Beautiful location, being close to the lake. It was a wet year, so the climb down to the water was only about 3'. As others have said, some of the structures are in need of repair, and the sites are close together. There were many vacancies when I was there, so noise and smoke were not a problem. I accidentally something in the campground, and the staff were extremely kind and helpful in getting it back to me.”

Atáxam Mámta’ash Campground (formerly Indian Flats)

Address: Puerta La Cruz Rd, Warner Springs, CA 92086, USA

Campground Park Lodging

“Just spent one night there to test out. Only 3 sites being used including mine. Seemed fairly quiet except the one family (mom, dad, kid and dog) who seemed louder than the other site that had several people (about 7 or 8 people). Gave it a 4 star instead of 5 because I wish there was a ranger to keep the dog family in check since their dog wasn't on a leash. It didn't full blown attack, but as I walked by their site, I had my hand on my knife and had to stop for the owner to come and get it.”

“Cute and quiet campground with flushable toilets and warm showers. Some campsites are a bot close to each other and have no privacy at all. Very clean and well taken care of campground which also has cabins. The only problem is that the road is right next to the campsites. The cars cause noise throughout the day and night.”

Gold Ledge Campground

Address: Kernville, CA 93238, USA

Campground Lodging Park

“I loved that we had the option of chilling at the water by our site or going to the swimming hole. The water was so chill this year it was an easy innertube ride down the river into the swimming hole. (But most summers I do not recommend going down the river without a life vest.)I jumped off the rock! That was fun! But I highly recommend plugging your nose. I got all waterlogged which made the experience less fun. Campsites are close in proximity but not stacked on top of eachother. The walk-in sites go over seriously rocky terrain making a simple wagon difficult to pull!! They are also very far from the bathrooms.. The plus side of the walk-in sites is privacy from the main road. Especially if you're bad like me and my friends and are noisy late into the night and building small fires hoping no one sees LOL... Nice spot, not too much shade. Bring your canopies, lots of sunblock, and bug spray& centinela candles! The campground host is pretty easy going. There isn't much space for extra cars to park on-site, but there is free parking at the turnout across the road.”

The amenities are nice with a laundromat you can control from an app on your phone for convenience. They also have individual shower rooms for privacy. The staff is wonderful and they were so accommodating to us given our trouble with inclement weather. We can’t thank them enough!”

They took their time to explain the route to the springs to us thoroughly and were very helpful when we thought our dog had been bitten by a snake. I am plan to return in a few weeks with another friend because I had a great time there 😊 they also sell firewood and have a small breakfast menu if you order the night before!”
