“Clean, fun place, with the right company! Plenty of space for people and activities, but not much else to do close by, (for a big group) so have plenty of activities to keep kids and others entertained. The tables are a bit worn, but serviceable, and they have a restroom, although no water.”

“A nice park just outside Saratoga. This park has great hiking trails ranging from accessible trails near the picnic area to a quarter mile nature trail loop to several mile long steep climbs along several ravines. The best views I found are along Aubry Creek right next to the tent campsites.”

“My wife and I spent a few months here while travel nursing and really liked it. Neighbors were great and and my wife felt safe while she was there by her self. The owner was very attenative and hands on in running the place. The pride she has for the RV park really showed.”

“This is a great Campground if you're looking to do a two-day sea to Summit backpack trip. Or just a simple backpacking trip in the Portola redwoods or big Basin Redwoods State Parks. Keep in mind there is no water at this Campground. Fortunately we were there after the recent rains and were able to pump water off the side of the road from a ditch. Without this ditch we would have had to hike two miles to opal Creek to pump water. We used a great guy for a shuttle service and paid him $100 a person. Feel free to message me if you would like his contact information for a shuttle.”

“Great little campground! Worth the drive to get there! It's small but they have lots of hiking trails and birds to watch. Very quiet not many people come by, definitely worth checking out!”

“Easy enough to find but parking for only one or two cars. The trail is well traveled to the campsite, crossing the stream several times along the way. Shortly beyond the campsite you'll need to find your own way to the falls. It'd be a good project for a team to clear a path to the falls. Overall a nice hike, but nothing special in the way of views or scenery.”

“Beautiful and nicely spread out campsites. It's nice that they have bathrooms, food lockers, and trash cans (at least in the summer). Lots of trees so you can hang a hammock (just not on redwoods). If you walk up the trail a bit onto the ridge there is good phone service which was nice peace of mind. Was not expecting mosquitos though so I got eaten alive! Bring some bug spray!”

“Campsites are extremely close together. Otherwise it's very pretty.”

“Beautiful! Lots of trails and creeks. Plenty of wildlife. There is a ~9 mile trail leading to a lake at the bottom of the valley and a trail that parallels it at the top of the valley going over the low mountains. It’s absolutely gorgeous and the best hiking on this end of the Central Valley. The view is beautiful and it’s well kept up. I highly recommend visiting it, it’s definitely worth your time. Words/pictures can’t do it justice.”
