“Hunniiiiii Chile scary experience, just keep ur eyes on the road. It's a small opening on the side of the road. It goes off the main road onto dirt track. Gonna be dusty so don't bother wash your car before because it's bound to get dirty. Tons of fun riding ATVs out n about freely with "Enjoy the mountains adventures"”

“Nice place to stay , quite, trails to take a walk, kid friendly, pet friendly, miniature golf , games inside the office. Management is really nice. My favorite is that the bike trails are close by. It's not brand new ,but to have the peace I had, I wouldn't trade it in for anything else. Management is very nice and friendly. Will visit again and recommending to friends and family , we appreciate good customer service.”

“This secluded camping spot is the ideal getaway if you want to escape the crowds. Travel up a somewhat rugged truck trail to get there--I was able to do it in my Volvo. The unobstructed views of Mount Baldy on one side and San Bernadino Valley to the other make this camp site one of a kind, for sure. However, because this area is a legal shooting range, people come in to shoot bottles and whatever else they can find, then leave the broken glass, garbage and shells all over the ground. I'm glad I didn't bring my dog because his paws would've been destroyed. It was the last thing I would expect up there. We cleaned up as much as we could, but they'll be back and undo whatever we did. The PCT runs right through the site, so you can hop on and get some great miles in before you turn back and get right into camp. The only thing keeping me from giving it five stars is that it is pretty exposed to both sun and wind. That area is prone to high winds and when they hit, be ready. There are not bathrooms, fire rings or benches here--carry in, carry out.”

“The campgrounds are clean. We did RV camping. It was not full service. They had water to fill up and dump station. It was $20.00 per night. We took our two dogs, they must be on leashes. We had a great experience for our first time. We enjoy the fact you can camp RV and tents on the same area. They have drive through camping sites for boats also. There is an additional fee of $11.00 for parking at the Lake for the day.”

“I've been here about a dozen times. Some nice views, right along the PCT, has fire pits, and a vault toilet AND picnic tables. Sometimes it can be windy. We brought extra rations of soda and snacks for the thru hikers (I believe this spot is around mile 500 from Mexico, on the way to Canada). I was camping in my roof top tent when a bear came through a few of the camps, so you'll want to be aware of that. I had a cooler WITH NO FOOD just plastic water bottles, and the bear still bit into the cooler probably from previous experience assumed food was in there, but it wasn't a big scare or anything. I had heard the bear has been through camp before. I take my 2 and 5 year olds with me each time I camp and they love the area.”

“So beautiful back here & secluded. Quiet, serene. No bathrooms in sight so bring something to "go" in or you're goin behind a bush. It does get VERY frigid back here as well, so if you're camping be sure to bring tons of firewood and blankets. It snows a ton back here too. It's a nice spot to bring the kids to play with or without snow. Does get crowded by individuals who like to go off-roading. Would be a beautiful hike back here too. I would honestly say the only downside is no bathrooms. The road to come in is a tight squeeze and sometimes someone has to pull up on the side wall to let someone through, or just reverese. Depenxs on the size of both vehicles and if there is a train of cars behind one or the other. Really great place, though. I would definitely love to come camping here for a week or so if we had the time & would recommend it to anyone.”

“Kelly Camp is a campground along the trail leading up to Big Horn and Ontario Peaks. It’s offers generous amounts of shade from the tall trees surrounding the campground and finding a flat surface to pitch a tent is easy. During the winter time Kelly Camp is buried in snow up to 2-3 ft. deep. I’ve never been here during the summer but I hear that there is a water source at or near this campground. It’s about a 1/5 of a mile in diameter. Walking into the camp there’s a wooden sign that says ‘Kelly Camp’. You can find the campground on maps distributed at the visitor center.”

“Beautiful campsite. The hike up has great views of the Golden Gate and the surrounding hills. We took a little hike up the hill north of campsite to watch the sunset and the city across the water. Absolutely fantastic.”

“Haypress is relatively close to the Tennessee Valley trailhead parking lot. There are several sites arranged in a linear fashion and a large group area. If it's a sunny day then you'll get lots of light/heat as the trees are to the west of the campsite. As backpacking sites they are some of the larger I've seen. Overall the campsite is roomy. Expect lots of bird activity in the morning. There is no water at the campsites, nor is there water at the trail head. No fires allowed. There are bear boxes to hold your food. The pit toilets are some of the nicest and cleanest I've seen. You can get a parking permit when you make your reservation. **There is no play structure at this campground. The auto-selected images Google provides depict a structure on Catalina Island (??)”
