“I tent camped for three nights towards the middle to end of May of 2022. I heard there were supposed to be a lot of bears, but I did not see one at all, which I was actually bummed out about. My camp neighbor saw one earlier in the morning before I arrived for the first night. There's tons of wildlife! There's also a trail that goes all around the campgrounds and part of it leads straight out to the lake. Bathrooms are nice and well kept (just make sure to bring your own soap and towel), and there is someone patrolling the grounds every hour or so. Fire pits are very large and have a grill you can put on it if you want to smoke something, and they have charcoal grills if you prefer that. It's also not far from the nearest market and about 10 minutes from Tahoe City if you need anything more. I only gave it a 4 because the sites could stand to be more private, and the roads/parking spaces are a tad confusing if you've never been there before. Overall, it's a lovely campsite and I would definitely visit again.”

Thank you Jerry and crew for always showing us a great time.”

My faith started to waiver but once I began listening to Pastor D’s preachings I felt a shift and my heart for Jesus and the gospel started to feel renewed. She is an amazing pastor and her teachings are very much rooted in the word. I appreciate her and everything she does 😇”

Campground Lodging Park

“This is one of 3 SVRA's that are reasonably accessible from the Bay Area with a variety of terrains, difficulties and opportunities to have some serious fun along the way. This places is definitely your more drier/dustier type conditions, so the best time to go is after there's been a little rain which dampens the dusty and turns the dirt into perfect grip. Other than that the main benefit of this place is the huge hill climbs and plenty of off-trail riding you can do. Great place to bring the kids with lots of open areas to ride and decent camping.”

“This is a tent camping grounds. Everything is walking from the parking lot. A Lake Tahoe beach is right across the road. It's high season right now August 1st. Lots of tourists, I guess I'm one of them too! Had a lot of interesting evening activity last night there was an adolescent brown bear who is smelling all the treats that the campers had left out and came into the campgrounds poached the bag of chocolate almonds from one group. He hung around for probably 45 minutes or more. I retrieve the campground host he came with his air horn and over the course of another 30 minutes was able to slowly hurt the bear back into the forest. As with most national Forest service parks there are toilets and water besides are in the national Forest. We are in drought season, very bad. So no fires of any sort.”

“Beautiful campground! Our site was #2 which had great views of the lake from our van, however you can't go wrong with any of them. There are 10 altogether. If I had to choose again, I'd choose site #1 because of the shade and its own personal view of the lake. Do be careful of spiders in the restrooms! Seriously! The movie Arachnophobia had nothing on these bathrooms. The entire restroom was covered with spiders. There were even signs on the urinals to Not Use because all the spiders in them! Eeks!”

Really pretty area overall also. Mostly safe, some little land islands exposed. Water levels great. Busy busy but it was memorial day weekend. boat launches easy to use. Great lake overall Visited the campground showers- only quarters accepted. $1.00 for 10 mins. clean and private showers.”

The facilities are clean and bathrooms are conveniently close. Full connections and they even have stagecoach rooms you can rent out. I’m surprised the occupancy here is very low. I went on a holiday and it was about 20% full. I loved it.”

Owl Campground

Address: Owl, Moreno Valley, CA 92555, USA

Campground Park Lodging

“Nice campground. The camp sites are a little close for comfort - basically the sites are like 2.5-wide parking spots on either side of the main road. I can comfortably fit my 5th-wheel trailer with the slides out next to my pick up truck in the parking spot, but there’s no margin in between your spot and your neighbor’s. The full hookup sites have 30A and 20A electrical hookups and water, but the big downside is that the drains are only for gray water - you can’t drain your black tank at your site. There’s a designated dump station at the campground, but it’s a hassle if you’re staying for more than a few days and you have to hook up the trailer and drive over to the dump station and then re-park and set everything back up at your site. The views of Lake Perris are really nice and the campground itself is very scenic and well laid out with hiking trails and a decent beach. There is a bit of a problem with litter on the ground and in the water though. Prices are a little high with no weekly discounts, compared to other campgrounds and RV parks, but I guess that’s to be expected in California.”

Dora Belle Campground

Address: Dorabella Rd, Shaver Lake, CA 93664, USA

Campground Park Lodging

“This place is a gem. Very beautifully kept, easy access to the lake, right in town so you can grab supplies and what not, but don't feel like you're right down the street from everything. The camp hosts were so sweet and kept the bathrooms immaculate. I had to leave a day early because my dog had to be rushed to the vet, and before I was even done driving out of the campground, they had processed a refund for my last night-which I was not expecting at all. Thank you all so much, we'll be back!”

Gulf Insurance Assoc Inc

“It's a beautiful location, lots of little places to explore. Great to have some good friends all camp together, especially on busy weekends, it's a locked gate to keep out anyone not part of the group. Cons: Vault toilets could get really bad and no running water.”

Dobson Ranch Dental Care

Address: 2024 S Don Carlos Ste A, Mesa, AZ 85202, USA

Dentist Health Campground Park Lodging

“First, I have to say that I do not like going to the dentist, but who does? Dr. Chris Payne and his staff always make me feel welcome. I originally called on a day that the office was closed so I called the Emergency number expecting an answering service at best. Dr. Payne answered on the second ring, took the time to talk with me, told me what to do and actually called later that day to make sure I was no longer in pain. I'm from the NY area no one does that! I went in today with no appointment, they found the problem and took care of it. The staff has a way of making you feel as if you're part of the "family" and you're the most important person to them when you're there. You will not find a more compassionate dentist anywhere and I've been to at least six dentists in the ten years I've lived in Arizona! Five Stars x two!”
