Upon inspection, we learned that one of the front rotors was badly damaged, apparently due to previous car owner using the wrong size pads. Just want to let people know this Gordo is awesome, HONEST (they showed us exactly what the issue was and made sure all other brakes were ok), and discussed exact cost. The manager was courteous and professional. Our experience was excellent.”

Thinking I needed to change out the pads, I called Covina Brake Service to schedule an appointment, because of the good Yelp reviews. They responded quickly, and I got a quote over the phone for a little over $450. This quote included a brake flush service. On the day of the appointment, Efrain called me back and told me after his inspection I still had 50% of brake pads left and didn't need to replace the pads for another 3 or so months. I was very please at Efrain's honesty, and because of that, he saved me around $360! I will definitely come back and replace the brake pads like he suggested. I've told all my family and friends to go to him if they need any brake services! I will also recommend his shop to my co-workers! “This service turned a bad camper experience into a reasonable one. The bearing on our trailer went out on the 8 near Descanso. It was quite a mess but their service was extremely professional removing the bad bearing, cleaning up the shaft for new bearings. They came completely prepared with a new brake and drum. The old one was trashed completely. Then he tested the camper brakes and checked out and repacked the other bearing. These extra steps let us know about other issues that impact safety of our trailer. Terrific service. Can't say how grateful we are they came out to help us. The cost was less than a quoted tow to a repair shop would have been! Awesome way to deal with a bad situation.”
