“My first time going to Ackerman’s was very positive. They were recommended by a Volvo owning friend. I found them honest, efficient with time, good communicators and very experienced. I highly recommend them. I brought in my 2006 Subaru Outback due to clicking noise with sharp turns, handling problems and white smoke coming out of tail pipe. Bruce (owner) explained white smoke likely condensation with cooler outside temps (winter). I chose to pay for compression test which proved Bruce right. Worth the peace of mind for engine with 150,000 miles. They determined the clicking noise from cracked axil. Bruce explained he typically saves customers money by using non Subaru parts, but in this case they’ve found off market part’s inferior. They also found that my suspension is shot. For this he recommended cheaper non Subaru parts that he said are consistently reliable. I appreciate their wisdom here. As full suspension repair will cost more than blue book for the car, Bruce prioritized which suspension repairs are most vital to safety and asked how many more miles I plan to keep my car. They obviously are not trying to rip off the customer, but work collaboratively to assess the customer’s best options. Big thank you to Bruce and his team.”

Nader was incredibly helpful and took the time to research every detail of the 20" wheels and tires I wanted for my daughter's Audi convertible down to the Tire Pressure Monitor System, spacing, optimal sizing and even the lug nuts! Their pricing is the best in the country if you're looking for performance wheels and tires to upgrade on your vehicle. I searched all over for several weeks before deciding to try these guys. I am super happy to say I made a good purchase decision. It took a couple days to get fully comfortable and work out all the details but Nader was patient and followed up several times. I highly recommended! Update: I recieved my wheels. They were in perfect condition. Mounted, high speed balanced and even had proper tire pressure. Nader even included adapters so I could replace the centercap's with the factory AUDI logo'd wheel caps on my new wheels. When I first saw them I was very worried about clearance. Once mounted they fit perfectly. Exactly as they said they would. These wheels and tires perform outstanding. Smooth to 130mph, better handling, better braking, better tracking and these combos are lighter than the factory set so slightly better acceleration. We could not be more excited with the look and happy with this purchase. (I was very nervous about this purchase.) It has also improved the looks dramatically. My daughter has said, and I agree, it's like getting a new car. Admittedly, her existing wheels and tires had dings and needed replacing possibly making this upgrade to performance and smooth ride more exaggerated but it does perform better than the day we purchased it new. Very efficient operation that only does rim repair, to the tune of 100 or more per day. Seems they rebalanced the tire well, as I haven't noticed and shaking at speed. Only hiccup was that they over filled the air by ten pounds, and left a little paint on the tire.”

“Decann is awesome. I came up from LA to do work nearby in my LR3 and my alternator died on a Friday night. I spent the weekend replacing it multiple times and the battery. No charging. Drove me nuts. Monday morning I valley a ton of places, everyone busy for days even months. I found Decann, he said he was busy but would look at it. I drove there, told him what I had done, etc. He told me how much up front, I didn't care, needed to get home. Within 2 hours, figured it out, ran a new ground cable. Amazing, I would never have found what he did and I usually fix at least 95% of my problems, takes me a while before I go to a mechanic. He is methodical, the fact that he put me in front of others is awesome, he hooked me up. I would drive from LA for him to fix my car, no joke. Support independent mechanics! “After going to Berts and getting a over priced estimate I remembered a buddy telling me about Parts411. I am sure glad I did, to get my KTM's carb cleaned, valves adjusted, and change the oil and filter it was $300 dollars cheaper than Berts. But more than the cost savings was the level of service I received, first the owner took me for a tour of his shop and introduced me to his mechanics as they talked me through everything I was going to have done to my bike. Then they called me with updates on how it was going and the issues they had found and repaired. My bike was done a day earlier than they estimated and the price didnt go up even though they fixed a few extras for me. My bike runs better now than it ever has and idles perfectly. If you are looking for a place that will perform top notch work for a fair price this is it. I cant wait to bring my Harley here to see if they can get my old Shovel Head to idle too!!!
