They told me basically in 5 minutes what the auction lied about and that was that first said it started and it didn't do that. Second they said it runs. This car was frozen and the auction knew it (bad business) they didn't say anything until I signed the paperwork and then was taken to go get it. They handed me the key and ran away literally. So I had it towed to these gentleman at SHOWPLACE MOTOR WORKS and I they told me that the car's engine was frozen and would need to be rebuilt costing me thousand of dollars. I thank them for being honest and straight from the gate unlike Auto return car auction. “I was just there this afternoon, Monday May 11, 2020. Friendly and fast! The man was personable and I felt comfortable, I was in and out in as little as 15 to 20 minutes. He read the sticker under the hood and studied his computer with scrutiny and I worried a bit that my mom’s car wouldn’t pass but it did! In regards to the person that gave them one ⭐️ star I only have this to say, California regulations are extremely tight and he could easily lose his license by making a mistake for not knowing something about an older 1980s vehicle, not even one mechanic knows everything about all cars, even with the Internet. And everything that goes through his computer and his smog machine goes directly to the DMV, there’s no more lick em’ and stick em’ anymore in the computer age.”
