“It’s been a long time since I’ve left a review for a mechanic. I normally struggle with some aspect whether it’s communication, quality of work, accessibility and ease of use etc. but I was so impressed with the overall experience that I had to share. I (had) been struggling with the air conditioning in my vehicle over the summer, and when I called thoroughbred motors, they were able to see me the following Monday, which meant they were busy, which I wasn’t mad about. That normally means they’re doing something right. The drop off of the vehicle was almost as easy as just leaving keys. The inspection and quality of follow up was unparalleled to any mechanic I’ve ever worked with. Period I received a text message with the link it took me to a full inspection, page or photos, and various vehicle needs or sorted and documented clearly. And the name of the mechanic overseeing the inspection was there with their photo, so I knew who was doing the work. They then presented various options and timings to get the work done so that it didn’t break the Bank. Not pushy or trying milk more work. They solved the problem within about 24 hours and had me on my way. I was so blown away that I referred my father to go there for some mechanical advice, and I will likely be sending more people to this honest shop.”

They even did a courtesy full body inspection of my truck! When my truck was broken into and damaged to the point I couldn’t start it, I looked up “auto repair near me” to have it towed there. “I can't recommend this place enough. We broke down on the road and had to get towed here when no other mechanic could look at our car. This is a family-run auto repair shop in a really small town. A sensor in my car failed making my car undriveable. Ralph realized he couldn't get the part until the next day. I know that replacing the sensor would be an easy job for any mechanic, and it would bring in a few hundred bucks for the shop. But instead of taking the easy money from us, Ralph helped me figure out how to drive the car home safely without the sensor, so I could get it repaired later, all so my family wouldnt be stuck in a motel that night. He only had me pay the standard initial fee to diagnose the problem. I felt like this was a total test of Ralph's character, and he proved to be a really good guy. It's hard to find a mechanic that you can feel confident will do the right thing and not just try to make extra money off you. Ralph is amazing. We were blessed to end up here!”
