Although he does not work on Mini Cooper S as stated on his website he came out to my house in Soquel, CA on Sunday and did the work in 2.6 hours. “The 2 gentlemen that helped me not blow up my car engine yesterday were very upbeat upon entering the store one retrieved information while the other checked stock The price was more than reasonable since I needed 4.2 qts of oil. Then I thought maybe I should check on the coolant for the radiator. Wasn’t sure where the radiator was and the one gentleman again helped me locate it and sure enough I needed to buy it and the price was super cheap the dealer would have charged 2 times as much!! “I brought my car to Nor-Cal transmission because it was making a new noise that sounded like drive train noise. A very knowledgeable and kind mechanic there test drove my car very thoroughly, checked it for codes, checked the transmission fluid, and after thorough test drive identified a different source of the noise and also jacked up the car to further pinpoint and verify the source of the problem- which was not even a repair they do at Nor-Cal. Nor Cal then assured me the car was safe to drive, and referred me to another shop or said I could wait until the noise got louder before addressing it. I pulled out my check book since they had spent close to an hour w me and my car... no charge. If you are looking for fairness, honesty, above and beyond customer service, as well as technical expertise... trust Nor-Cal transmission.”

The tech could have told me I needed the works and I would have believed him. So it was a surprise when he let me know that my breaks were fine and had plenty of life left. “We took our 1968 Chevy C-10 truck to Clerisy Concepts for some mechanical updates. We had four wheel disc / power brakes installed, a new transmission, Power steering and had the truck lowered 2 inches. The owner of the shop, Derek is very friendly and knowledgeable with all aspects of the automotive industry. Clerisy Concepts did a great job on our 68 C-10, and we could not be happier. We will be returning to Derek and his shop for other work or upgrades in the future. Billy, the mechanic is an awesome guy with plenty of mechanical knowledge to fix or fine tune whatever you got. Clerisy Concepts also paints vehicles, which we had the opportunity to see several they have done. The paint on each of the vehicles looked immaculate.
