I called him and he was at my camper and had the awning removed within a couple hours. My wife told me how nice and honest he seemed while he was there. He then ordered the new parts and when they came in he immediately scheduled the install. I was at the camper during the install and talked with him while he worked. “Jorge is the smog tech who runs this place. Brought my car in for a smog check. Failed me the first time but only due to an aftermarket downpipe between my primary and secondary cat. Swapped the aftermarket downpipe with the stock one and passed me. 50 bucks for the first and 33 bucks for the retest. I appreciated his honesty of why my car didn't pass the first time. One of the only smog places that is open pretty late and is walk-in only. Other places wanted me to wait a week or 2 and Jorge got me right in. I will be back!! Thanks.”

“What a horrible feeling when your transmission needs replaced or fixed. Thoughts of 1000s of dollars out the window. It happens and when it does who can you trust? I have no clue. My vans gears were slipping and when I stopped it wouldn't go into gear when I tried to get back on the road. My heart sank. I looked up transmission shops nearby and Thank God Arts Transmissions was the closest. I called and there was Art. He asked a few questions and immediately started going on and on in transmission lingo. I was impressed. He made me feel comfortable though I knew it was going to hurt. He said call around , I did. Nobody nearby gave me more than 1/10th of the time, knowledge or trust I felt with Art. He helped me through trying to limp the van in. His advice worked. I barely limped in and there he was working his tail off. Stopped and greeted me with a big smile and a handshake. He explained he could get it done within a week. I limped the van back home. I brought the van back on a Wednesday he said maybe Friday he could finish. He called me Thursday to go over everything and said maybe Friday no promises most likely Monday. Friday at 1100am Art calls and said he just test drove it come get it. He initially Said it might be a few hundred extra dollars but in the end he was able to keep it at cost. He showed me exactly what he did with all the old parts and new boxes. He showed me a scanner that was linked to my electronics and showed that there were no issues. I drove the van home felt like new. I'm so impressed! I love give good reviews when good people deserve it. ARTS TRANSMISSIONS deserves a ten star. Service with a 😃 and then some! Thank you sir!”
