“Go to the church for the first time for a memorial service. I ended up having to park on the street because the parking lot filled quickly. The church itself is very nice. It's a small intimate service. All the staff we're very welcoming and very nice. I was not able to attend service so I can't speak for that but the pastor that's over the church spoke at the memorial and did a wonderful job. I wouldn't mind visiting them on a regular Sunday.”

“The community was established under Saint Luke's Church, which is also located in Stockton. The center is designed to teach students religious beliefs of Catholicism and the Vietnamese identity/language/culture for a total of eight years or more. Uniforms are required to be worn by staff members, students, and youth group members. Games are played at break during the academic school year, which runs on Saturdays. The church gives their students the Sacrament of Confession in their third year and Confirmation in their eighth year. The community may also receive the Sacrament of Confession. Graduates are also invited to join the youth group to become leaders, friends, and role models for the students. Mass is spoken in Vietnamese. While there are holy days and priesthood celebrations each year, Vietnamese culture and traditions are also celebrated at the church. It is another place to make close friends and will remain a place where community members feel welcome to return to.”
