They also have wireless speakers set up at the different areas so you can still listen to the sermon while tending to your little one(s)! I think this is a great way to worship, since they get to see how you sing, pray, and praise God! One very important thing about deer Park: you will get what you put into it. If you enter the valley with a closed reserve mind and spirit, you will receive little. Enter with an open mind, and heart, and you will fill your inner most with warmth and spiritual wealth. The journey at deer Park may take only one visit, or multiple visits over the span of many weekends. That is for each individual to determine for themselves. There is always something new to gain from visiting the monastery. Sometimes, it may be just to give back to others. I strongly suggest you visit on a day of meditation and ask yourself, how much of my self am I willing to give and to open myself up about? You will receive back ten told. They serve lunch which is a vegetarian meal, and money is not required to partake in their ceremony, but donations are welcome. You will help the community cook, clean, and tidy up when done.
