I definitely was pretty nervous given all the embroidery and details on my gown (and the fact that my mom is fairly particular, too!) but Alice did a great job at calming my nerves and reassuring us with her patience and answers to all of our questions and concerns. Alice was wonderful and also pointed out things neither of us had noticed, which I really appreciated as it showed she truly cared in doing a good job, and in doing it the way I would feel most comfortable, both physically and emotionally. Alice was able to carefully remove and resew lace appliques around the chest area and the back which I really appreciated as it helped the dress flatter me even more. Not only did we spend a lot of time at the store, Karla also worked hard for us behind the scenes. She gave me her personal cell number so we could work together outside the store hours. She was so helpful with finding me the perfect mother of the quince dress, along with our damas dresses, chambelanes suits, my daughters bouquet, and her bear. Her seamstress is amazing as well. The sauce is so good, and I think about it often, so often that my husband and I make it a point to stop by every time we come back to Sacramento to visit family. We are not currently residents here due to the military and have lived in multiple states and come back to visit when we can. They do not skimp on papaya and are so quick and fast with getting your order ready. I appreciate customizing spice level depending on how many peppers you want, and they do a wonderful job bagging your order without spillage, and even when you get a party tray, they wrap it up nicely.”

I just needed to get a broom -- the employee quickly told me the aisle and I got out of there quickly. I wouldn't shop here to cover all my grocery needs, but there are certainly other items that are pretty decent prices, even compared to Target/Wal-Mart. Compared to Viva, the next closest alternative, shop here if you can. The young black guy at the front was really helpful and seemed involved with the community and customers, which is always nice to see, especially in this area.”
