“I love love love Dollar General here in Winters California, I mean it's my go to store, Especially for the prices, and savings, I love the people there, they seem to be more like my little family. The stores always well stocked, due to everything that's happening it's hard to get supply and demand, no fault of their own. Yes I would recommend Dollar General to anyone. Especially when your single, my specialty microwave lol. I'm sorry to see the clothes go however I'll adjust. I feel for what I see, as someone with an associates degree in Business Administrations,this is my opinion, The CEOs of these stores make billions yet they don't recognize the hard work their employees do, I feel they are over worked and under staffed and they deserve to have people training in each area, they need more cashier's and more people stocking shelves and then a team unloading trucks. They should be paid more, I feel you get more done, and when they decide to change things they should have training for two weeks. You can't just throw people in there and assume they will learn the system right away. Proper training, lots of team work, more workers more money less turnover. Respect for your team, makes things run better. Other then that I love all my babies at dollar general, now you can get fresh produce and I can get all my meals cheaper than the grocery store”

The prices are actually slightly lower than average for a convenience store, and they within spitting distance of Escalon High School, so I'm sure they do an absolute ton of sales so they can afford it.”

“I do rideshare usually from 8pm to 5am. As a driver its always hard to find pitstops. Granted most ampm stations are open, and most are pretty decent with the service, sometimes you come across one that stands out. This is the case with this particular location. More so it was the excellent customer service I received from the young lady tending tonight. Alondra was very professional and so kind. As I began to realize they only had decaf coffee available, where most would give an excuse as I have heard many a time before, with a smile she didn't hesitate to go above and and make a fresh pot for me. But it was more then that, she went to the back to get me cookies when I asked if they had any. It may sound funny or simple, and some might say, that's her job but understand me when I say that I was a little disappointed when I walked in to find what I wanted wasn't available, but left with the greatest feeling knowing that someone like Alondra Is out there making a difference just by her attitude in her job. No doubt she will move on to do greater things in life, it all starts with attitude. I hope the owners know that she is an asset and appreciate her and all those who are the face of the company that will keep me coming back as a customer.
