“After moving to the Sacramento area a few years ago, I was struggling with making a commitment in finding a family dentist. It was a big decision for me and I wanted to make sure I was making the right choice. This may sound silly to some, but being in the field , I know that they are not all created equal. I have known of Dr. Ackerman’s reputation and have spoken with many of his patients over the years who have nothing but good things to say. I am so pleased with my choice! I was seen in their office today and it went so smoothly. Everyone was super sweet from the scheduling coordinator to the hygienist. Let me just tell you, the staff is just as important as the doctor! Dr. Ackerman sat down with me and walked me through all of my x-rays and previous treatments that had been completed. He didn’t make me feel bad for not having an exam in a couple of years. He was able to touch up a rough spot on one of my molars and sent me away as a proud member of the cavity free club (got lucky this time). I have scheduled appointments for my entire family and although there is a bit of a wait to get in (a couple of weeks), trust me it is worth it!”

“I had a root canal today by Dr. Angela Hsiao. She was fantastic! There was absolutely no pain!!! Wow, I'm so happy and amassed as I had a root canal years ago and it was awful so I was a little apprehensive about getting one but knew I had to. Dr. Angela Hsiao was so gentle and the procedure was so painless! Wow!!! i felt so good afterwards that I was even able to continue my hike home instead of getting a ride. If you need a root canal, all I can say is you will be VERY happy if you go to Dr. Angela Hsiao. Thanks for a very positive root canal experience today! I hope I won't need another one ever, but if I do, hopefully you will still be practicing oral surgery! Thanks! The office staff was very nice too. The front desk was awesome too. Karina and Sam, I think, helped me navigate my insurance issues and called me the day before to give me a "heads up". Thanks for your help and being on top of any issues!”

“This review is my experience with Dr Jimmy! In May 2019, I decided to do braces and I did A LOT OF researches (Asian, Caucasian dentists, etc) since this journey was gonna take years and costly. A couple reasons why I chose Dr Jimmy. 1st, my cousin did her braces here and she had great result. 2nd, the office was busy when I visited. 3rd, the price was better than other places. 4th, I like the atmosphere of the office. Cô Phương is very friendly and welcoming. Also a couple people suggested Dr Jimmy on Facebook. I had bad teeth and had to removed 4 teeth before applying braces. (All of other dentists I went to said the same - removing 4 teeth. Again, make sure to consult multiple dentists to hear their inputs). Then Covid hit and my progress was delayed a couple months. This is also my fault because there were some months I forgot to go check. Cô Phương always called to remind me of my monthly appointment anyway. I paid off my balance in Dec 2021 but my teeth still need a bit adjusting so Dr Jimmy still asked me to wear the rubber band to make them better. So I still visited the office for 3 more times for 3 more months. However, my teeth weren't still "perfect" and Dr Jimmy asked me if I wanted to wear the rubber band longer since he wanted to push it to the limit. But I'm happy with my teeth and Im so done with braces So today 2022, March 23, I finally took them off. The journey still continues since now I have to wear retainers and go back for check up. It's longer than I expected but overall, I'm happy and I'll recommend Dr Jimmy to anyone asking. I hope this review helps you to decide. Thank you so much Dr Jimmy, Cô Phương & all the great staff.”
