I have received many clean ups from other dentist offices and I have never experienced a doctor so calm, focused , and very great at explaining what you have wrong/not wrong about you. Dr phoung went into some deep cleaning in my opinion for what was simply a regular clean up. “Dr. John Yu did amazing job on root canal. Didn't feel any pain at all except my jaw. Because I had to keep my mouth open all the way. Other than that, he did good job. I can tell he really enjoy fixing the tooth. Highly recommend him. If I need to get my tooth fix, I would not be afraid to go see him or try avoid going there. He communicates what he’s doing, he’s very gentle when cleaning, he doesn’t get water all over my face (as I’ve experienced with other people 🙄), and he genuinely takes an interest in my life outside of being a patient. “As the previous reviews mention, this was also my first time visiting the office and I had an amazing experience. I was greeted by the receptionist and given the paperwork immediately to fill out, asked and answered any questions I had. Did not wait long and was taken back with more greetings and smiles (even through the mask) lol. Again as was previously mention, Dr Barrett seemed rushed but I can imagine if you have a lot of patients that you don’t have time to talk, but again, he was very helpful, open, honest and answered all my questions. When I was taken back to the front because I also had a cleaning scheduled, I spoke with the financial manager and she was also very knowledgeable and answered all the questions I had. All the way up to the cleaning, which was also wonderful, till I walked out the door I had a great experience. I would definitely recommend this office for your dentistry needs. Thank you Dr. Barrett and your wonderful staff for an awesome time at the dentist. I’m sure you don’t hear that often. Lol”
