We were driving to his El Sobrante office after school from Berkeley, now drive to his Clayton office..he's that good. He's especially great with sensitive children like my spirited son. Most importantly, his staff is v. well trained, very professional. They can always be reached in an emergency. **2 years just flew by for us!”

“I nave been going to this office since 1977 when my youngest son was in Kindergarten and Dr. Martin came to the class and talked about the importance of caring for their teeth, especially proper brushing and flossing. My son came home and talked about how friendly the doctor was. I was not very happy with the dentist we had when we moved to Concord so I called Dr. Martin's office to a check-up to check him out. I was so happy with how personable he was and his gentle technique and his chair side manor. Then after many years Dr. Martin decided to take a partner, then the next step was to decrease his hours. His partner was Dr. Loftin. He was also a personable, knowledgeable dentist. So changes continued to where Dr. Martin retired. So now Dr. Loftin was my dentist ever since and I have the same hygienist forever. I love this office and everyone there.”

“Seriously, there's not a better dentist anywhere. After several dentists hacked my mouth and made me fear dental work, I just stopped going to the dentist. We all know what that does. At my last attempted dental visit in the valley, she wanted 10k for a bunch of work that Dr. VanBlargen ultimately handled in 3 visits and for less than $1k. (I have insurance so it was much less out of pocket than $1k) This family run office is unlike anywhere I've ever been and after avoiding dentists like the plague, I honestly look forward to my appointments. No joke--best. dentist. EVER.”
