“2 December 2020. Failure of on-line pharmacy to deliver medication to control my hypertension, caused gradual increase in both Systolic and Diastolic pressures. When personal sphygmomanometer readings reached 207/110 — pulse: 74 BPM; I notified my cardiologist, who advised me to go immediately to the Stanford ER. Attending physician: Katherine Laurinda Staats, MD (Very impressive Medical Doctor!) At Stanford ER, the medical staff: Conducted two lab tests: • CBC with Differential • Metabolic Panel Comprehensive, Troponin I Conducted one Imaging Test: • ECG, 12-Lead Administered three medications: • amLODIPine • carvedilol (Coreg) • lisinopril When BP was reduced to a stable 135/62 and all tests were within proper parameters, Dr Staats released me to return home. I stopped at Walgreens Drug Pharmacy to pick up two blood pressure medications you ordered fo me earlier in the day. This morning my BP was 135/62, HR was 62. Warm regards Jim Brooks”
