“It is not often that an errand to try to get something repaired is an actual pleasure - but this was! I brought in my prized alabaster lamp whose homemade 1960s pull chain finally died to get rewired; the fellows in the store took a look, commanded me to wait and fixed it in less than 20 minutes while I waited, watched the other interesting customers have their specialized questions and queries answered one by one. For about $35, it was like a throwback moment of how household errands *could* feel like a social, sustaining part of one's day instead of an inhuman grind. I know this is really over the top, but it actually was a nice little blip in my day, and I got my favorite possession back and better than ever!”

“I'm sure all of our experiences are different. I had no issues with this hotel. Front staff was friendly. We did have to pay $20 for early check in (check in at 2, but arrived at 12. $10 every hour). The room was clean, third floor gave us a small view of the street and mountains in the morning. It was quiet, it was very busy but people stayed to themselves. Parking was crowded, but we always had a good spot. Great walking distance to nearby food and drink. Met with housekeeping to change towels, she was also nice.”
