Although I have been going to this doctor's office for years (seeing the previous doctor as well as the PA), I met Dr. Nassar for the first time today and was EXTREMELY impressed!!! He was thorough, asked lots of questions, listened intently and I never felt like he was in a rush. He spent a great deal of time with me, discussing not only my health concerns, discussing the health concerns of my elderly mother-in-law (who is looking for a new doctor after her doctor retired). We will be switching her to his office ASAP!!!”

“My friend was sent there for treatment from deep burns and they were fantastic in their care for him. I brought a meal and a box of protein drinks and bars to help his healing. The things were in his room by the time I got to window and they helped him in what he was unable to do. No visitors allowed because of covid out break. The hospital itself is a historic and has the history of the building and campus on the walls of the main building. Plus they have an excellent library on the fourth floor run by an extremely knowledgeable librarian. There are several shelves of books that are free to take.”

“My review is mostly for my head doctor, Kim Hartwig. She's been my pcp since 2015 and I love her. She is very compassionate and never hesitates to order labs or have me come in whenever I have a complain or not feeling good in general. As someone with chronic pain, I am beyond thankful for her level of care. There's a laboratory on the second floor and they're very quick and friendly. Sometimes though, the tech that you get might have a heavy hand because I always get a bruise when I get labs. Anyway. Folks doing ultrasounds are friendly too. Everyone in general! I love kaiser.”

“When looking for a Primary Care doctor, I decided on Oak Park Family Health because of its location. Being right around the corner for me, the appointments are convenient. I absolutely loved Ria Martin, the PA, that I had on my first appointment. She sat and listened about my current health issues, as well as past problems. She recommended I see one of the regular doctors as I am "medically complex". She did get my referrals out, and I couldn't thank her enough. My follow up appointment with Dr Shumilak was great too. She listened to my concerns, and got out more referrals for me. I really have a huge hesitation with doctors, and I usually have a hard time finding a doctor/staff that I feel comfortable with. The nurse that I have had experience with has been a super nice dude and the office staff are nice and helpful as well. The waiting area and the rooms are super clean. I am glad I made my appointment here, and not one of the other offices.”
