“The Youth and Teen programs were recently taken over by a group called HHCF. I use to have a student that attended the old program and was very concerned because the student was learning nothing. I meet with them and decided to give the new group a try. It turned out to be amazing. Instead of sitting in the building playing videos games and getting bullied by the teens, she is now actually getting her homework done. She has been in a play, does martial arts, chess, even dance. I can express how much better this site is, I am not sure who made the changes but hhcf has been a 360 turn around from what was there before. I no longer have this kid begging me to get off early to pick them up, now its always come get me as late as you want. Such a better program”

“When this office was open, the staff was friendly and helpful. Loved stoping here each year with my two boys. Knocked off a star because, though the open hours were listed on the gov website, the office is actually closed for covid. Payment is now required for online wilderness permits (shouldn't a worthless online system be cheaper than in person help and guidance??). Free permits are no longer available in person. If you are not using the main trailheads, forget about trying to navigate the online system. My recommendation is to skip the permits as the online system is too much of a hassle; if you stay off the main trails, your chances of a ticket are practically nil anyway.”
