“Wing Zone in Santa Clarita if fabulous. The crew was extra welcoming and told me all options. Great job to the manager for an excellent crew. I had the Chicken wings with Smoking BBQ with a serious Cayenne pepper kick. Look at my photos. The wings were juicy and crispy outside. The hot BBQ sauce smothered all over was a delicious. I had the fires dry rubbed with half lemon pepper and half blackened voodoo Cajun flavor. Wow, just wow. I finished with the Funnel Cake fries. Crispy outside and soft inside topped with powdered sugar. The combination of the sweetness after the hot wings made a perfect meal. The parking lot is large with plenty of parking. They had people coming in and out getting their orders. After tasting the food, I can see why the foot traffic was consistent the entire time I was there.”

“It has been years since I went to Pick Up Stix. Several times I had a craving for Pick Up Stix but something got in the way. I got through with a little job. It was hard work but a nice paycheck. (well, for me) It also happened that I needed to stay in HB until evening because I have to pick up a laptop from a friend to DJ an event at Crunch Fitness tomorrow. (long story) My very first thought was: I have a little extra cash and have to stay in HB: I am going to Pick Up Stix! It is nice to report that it still tastes EXACTLY as it did years ago! My favorite meal here is now kind of a secret. I did not see it on the menu but when I asked, the very attentive staff member told me what it was called. She told me it was the House Chowmein or The House Rice. Depending on your poison, (mine is noodles) this dish includes shrimp, beef and chicken. I also ordered a medium Won Ton Soup abd a large drink. The prices haven't, suprisingly, increased as much as they have at most fast food places. Granted, prices were a little more than most fast food, of course, even before Covid, but the quality of the food balanced out the higher price. I had expected prices to be even higher now but they weren't. Another thing I have noticed is that both the portions and the quality of the food has suffered in most fast food places. The only difference I saw here in the portion was the side crunchy noodles. Not a big deal. Otherwise portions AND qualith were exactly as I remembered them. In addition, the unsweetened ice tea was excellent. (the best is at Panera but portions are small and prices high) Tea is a very big factor for me because I rarely drink sodas. This tea was perfect and refreshing. (not like the horrid tea I had at Burger King which, though a picture was shown of iced tea on the soda dispenser was actually made behind the counter and handed to me with NO ice! It also tasted awful, too bitter) Finally, the place was clean and, as a DJ I appreciated the music mix. It is rare that a place plays a song I do not not know, as well as some of the hits. The mix flowed despite the many genres represented. Good Pandora station or programming. All in all, I was extremely grateful for my delicious and relaxing reunion with Pick Up Stix!”

The girl in the pic holding my salad out(wish I could remember her name) was AMAZING!!! Not only did she suggest the most delicious salad I’ve ever eaten. She also served it with a smile. Then... When I was almost finished, I motioned to her that I wanted another! Without having to get up from my table(there were people standing over me waiting to take my seat) she had another one made and I was able to enjoy the second one with my wife when she walked in. Finally, I had the chance to meet the manager(Jim) that was literally walking around, greeting everyone and clearing tables like a true leader!!! His personality was the cherry on the top!!! “Aug 26 2023 I bought 1. Combination fried rice 2. Sweet & sour chicken 3. Combination Chow fun 4. Moo goo gai pan 5. 3 flavored Kung Pao 6. Sesame balls 7. 1 wok (wonton) soup amounted to about $83 total with tax. I now try to minimize buying to go food or dining at a restaurant to curb my family's expenses, but I like coming back to Rice Kitchen because they have generous servings that I am able to portion out the leftovers & turn it into meals for the following days. We are a family of 2. For this order, I got: -2 meals for dinner tonight & 10 sesame balls -8 portioned meals from leftovers -2 containers of won soup leftover (these + a toast or a cheese quesadilla will make us probably 2-3 meals) -About 2 more meals of extra rice & Three Flavored Kung Pao. Total: 14 meals $83÷13 meals = $5.92 Cooking our own food is the most cost-effective, but buying from Rice Kitchen from time to time is reasonable for me. It's splurging without breaking the bank. Aside from the cost, I like the taste of the food here of course that's why I keep coming back=) July 15 2023 Happy to announce that they still have an A rating. They have a An rating which made me comfortable buying from them. The lady who took our order was very accommodating. The food was tasty and although the food containers were the same size as other restaurants, Rice Kitchen fills them up as much as it would take. I appreciate this because money does not come from a tree and it can get expensive buying restaurant food nowadays. I will definitely be a repear customer and taste all of the food on their menu. To the owner, to cut cost, maybe you can provide plastic food & spoon, fortune cookies and condiments when customers ask for it? Maybe put a sign in your restaurant to let customers know this. The cost you cut on this can used to cover providing bigger portions. Most of the time when it's to go, these condiments, plastic utensils and fortune cookies only get tossed anyway.”

“I’ve been to this exact me n Ed’s for a long time now. Never disappointed. By now, people have made their decision whether they like it or not, a lot of people have mixed opinions about their crust. I love it personally, but understand why some don’t like it. However, today they came out with their pizza bowls at 10.95, with tax it is 11.83. I got the classic combo and it was delicious. About a dollar more compared to other pizza places, but to me, me n Ed’s has fresh ingredients and great pepperoni. Also, compared to other places it is relatively the same thing, but I have to give points to presentation here. It comes with a lid! It makes it feel like something special and you can tell it’s fresh out of the oven because the lid is foggy! I know I’m excited about a lid, but this is the thing that makes it stand out among the other pizza bowl places. As for customer service, nice people. The bowl is niche, good marketing for a keto diet or people with gluten allergies. I cannot tell you that this is a pizza replacement. Simply a compliment to it.”

Cheese blend was a little different than most pizza places but it was good and not too overpowering. Staff was friendly and they took my phone order quickly.
