“Something I cannot explain happened. I rented a pickup truck today, all went well, when I closed the tailbed, it wouldn't close. My guess it was a system malfunction. When I drop it off & tell them, they noticed the rubber grommets were missing. They said theres no way it should've stayed closed when I left. Honestly, I have no idea what happened, but I am thankful the helpful gentleman offered me the insurance for $10, even though I have to pay $150 for something I have no way of understanding how it happened. Looked everywhere when I got bacl home, couldnt find the grommets, I think I'd notice if they did fall off (they are usually connected sturdy). A lesson learned, check the bed door and compare to other trucks”

“I would definitely recommend Thrifty Moving for all your moving needs! Setting up my reservation with Marysa was a breeze. She made me aware of all CA policies & procedures thoroughly and explained their pricing structure well. Day of, Jim and Eric were extremely helpful and mindful of time. They arrived within the estimated time and got to work straight away. These guys were literally running. We were doing a local 1 bedroom apartment move from Walnut Creek to Martinez with a storage unit stop in San Ramon. They were extremely organized in what needed to be pulled out first at the storage unit vs being placed at the final destination so there was no time lost picking and choosing out of the truck. Jim was very consistent on asking questions about certain items for my preference on where the furniture should be placed. Definitely not just a grab and drop job. When the moving was complete, Jim confirmed the timeline with me and called the payment into their office in front of me. They quoted me $135/hour with a 4 hour minimum and 2x the drive time of which they stood by. No hidden fees, charges, or attempts to pull the wool over my eyes. By nature, I was worried about the reliability of any mover but TM Moving put all my concerns to ease. Amazing experience and will definitely use them again for my next move. “The website was easy to use & I picked my storage unit & paid for it online in just a few minutes! I went to the facility in person the next day & was given a great tour! I was greeted in a friendly manner & all my questions were answered! I purchased a barrel lock, installed it, selected my pass code & was done in under 30 minutes! Very efficient!! Additional: after storing my belongings for 4 months I finally moved into my new home. The storage unit I had was clean, dry, easily accessible, climate controlled, & very secure. I talked several times with Ashleigh at the front desk & she was always friendly, efficient, & helpful! This was a fantastic experience!”
