It changed my life to finally lose weight & keep it off, while eating a meal that I enjoyed! It’s great quality and taste! The protein is never dried up (always an issue with mela preps) and the portion are perfect. Plus, the owner is amazing! He is completely hands out and knows all his customers personally, which helps me feel like my goals are always going to be met when picking meals! “Date night brought us to the Hook and Plow. We planned on dining in Manhattan Beach but I'm pleased that we decided to head to Redondo beach instead. Place is quite small indoors but they do have outside seating with plenty of room. Our dining experience here was great.... great staff, great food, overall was the perfect Saturday night for us. Only downfall.... Parking. We drove around a few times before finding a parking spot. We have decided that we are going to try every single eatery located at Riviera Village so I'm definitely looking forward to that!”

“This is a place we love coming to for a treat. It's usually 4 courses but you can get a la carte as well. The portion sizes are pretty large if you plan to eat all 4 courses. Usually we are full after the salad and cheese fondue but manage to keep eating anyway because it's all tasty! One of the great things about fondue is that it takes time to get through each course. Waiting for the cheese to melt or each morsel of meat to cook really creates time for digestion and conversation. Plan for a 2 hour experience if you are going to have 4 courses. Excellent service and romantic atmosphere.”

“This is a nice place to go to if your craving Mexican food. The pitcher margaritas are REALLY GOOD!! I have had the watermelon margarita and the mango. One pitcher is for about 4 people, each person has two or maybe 3 drinks depending how heavy your pour is. It is really good quality and highly recommend. I do not recommend for two people. This is a nice spot if your a sports fan but don't want to go to a sports bar. There are TVs everywhere in the bar seating area so you can get a good view of the game that's on. The servers and bar tenders are all really nice and friendly. They are great at recommending food and drinks to order. It's a little pricy but to be honest you would doesn't a lot more for a lot less at a regular bar. The pitcher was $40. I would go here again especially for the pitcher drinks!”

“I have had this place a few times now, enough times to where I feel I can give an honest opinion. The pizza is good and toppings are fresh. Our last visit we tried ordering the laundry special (slice of pie and a drink) but the lady wanted to upsell me. I appreciate the effort so I went for it. Two personal pies (laundry special) for the same price, just no drinks. She ended up hearing me wrong and charged me for a large pie. Total was more than I expected but I went with it. We also ordered the 6 piece buffalo wings and the chicken nachos. Wings were not bad, good flavor and crispy. Chicken nachos could definitely use some work. They used a mozzarella cheese that got hard before we could even try them, so when you got a chip, everything stuck to the cheese came with it. I was thinking they should try a nacho cheese sauce to give it more of a nacho feel. My wife and I frequent the laundromat next door so we will be trying the pizza more. Staff is very nice and welcoming. All in all, I would recommend people try it for themselves. Different people have different opinions.”

“The place is fine. A small eatery without much of ambience there. The servers aren't quite trained and their English and communication is just passable. The mex veg uttapam was slightly undone. They give a small amount of chutney and when asked for more they give another tiny amount. I felt that Madras cafe wins in this regard. The filter coffee was good but not strong. They add a service tax already but that is not obvious when they show you just the final bill amount. I feel that I paid tip for no reason then.”
