“This was the best fast service Hawaiian BBQ I’ve ever had. We ordered the Kailua Pork and Chicken Katsu and they were both delicious. The pork was really juicy and tender, very flavorful without too much salt. Additionally the fried chicken was really tender and “clean”, clearly fried with fresh oil. The proportions were great for the price. Unless your absolutely starving I suggest the “mini” size is plenty big for full meal as it comes with rice and salad. We ordered our food thru DoorDash out of desperation because it was getting late and we couldn’t drive anywhere from our motel. Turns out we made a great decision, our food was hot, fresh, and delicious. Thanks! The snails were fresh (make sure to them while they sizzle) with the basil elevating the dish to the nines. The deep fried bass was expertly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside The star was this green sauce that was medium spice level. It was so tangy and so herbal and so tantalizing I asked for a bottle to bring back (they don't have a bottle). It's so good, so so good. I would always order the seafood here. And I want to go back to try the beef.”

They had an amazing cherry French toast. They had a good variety of syrups to choose from. The waitress was busy but super pleasant. The only bummer thing is that the credit card machine was down and had to walk to the atm right behind the building to pull out money. Overall very pleasant restaurant. Cannot say more about how enjoyable it is to have great wait staff who actually enjoy their jobs, work together and care about what they are doing. The food was always fresh and well prepared. Never a complaint or issue. Fresh cut fruit. Great portions. Local eggs. And vegan meat options. Usually not a big fan of home style potatoes but these were great. I wound up ordering a side of refried beans and they were really good (we came back several times during our week in OC and I ordered the beans every time). Regular and fruit syrup for your pancakes, with specialty flavors posted on the wall... pumpkin pancakes anyone? And three kinds of fresh salsa plus Tapatio and Cholula on the table... I mean cummon y'all, that's doing it right. And the coffee. And the Italian Espresso and Cappuccino machine. Perfect. Sad to say I was always so fast to dig in I don't have great pix. The burrito is their mini burro with eggs, potatoes, choice of meat with a side of usually potatoes but I chose the beans. So great and very reasonable price. They definitely have huge regular portions if you're so inclined. My husband enjoyed the steel cut oatmeal, the pancakes, and a few other options on our many morning trips. But forgot to remind me it's cash only. Remember: CASH ONLY. atm available. I forgot more than once, was only a $2 fee, not too bad.”

“It is close to 5 stars for a reason, it is delicious! THE best Chinese restaurant I have been to in Cali. I am from another state, and the Chinese food here... It is just not the same. This is just like home. I love the beef and broccoli . I have tried the beef and broccoli, chicken and broccoli, orange chicken, egg drop soup, cream cheese wonton, egg roll, and the fried shrimp. The beef and broccoli is out of this world, seriously, you have to try it. Broccoli isn't to crunchy, nor mush, and the beef is so tender. It seriously comes in so much tasty sauce! Can upgrade to fried rice for a small fee. The let you customize even, or at least they did when asked. I was able to get my egg drop soup plain (no tofu or veg) and they were even nice enough to swap my fried shrimp for a few cream cheese wontons. The cream cheese wontons have a touch of sweetness which is the best in my opinion. I wasn't a huge fan of the fried shrimp, and the orange chicken was a little on the sweet side.. (I prefer spicy). However, I can see why everyone else recommendeds it. The beef and broccoli was just sooooo good though. The family A dinner come with a big entree, 2 cream cheese wontons, an egg roll, 1 fried shrimp, and egg drop soup. It is worth it! All that food is enough for two, but you won't want to share, you will want to double up. The staff is always kind, they are quick, and they have never messed up my order. Very consistent! The chef is awesome and I would recommend this to anyone still on the hunt for a great chinese place! Only the buffets compare, but they arent nearly as clean! I have been here a few times, and really don't ever plan on going anywhere else. (Pictures vary, as they are from the last few times I came here.)”
