“The restaurant looks pretty clean as you walk in, the service is ok and there’s nothing really bad to say about this particular location/take out. I ordered the #4 chicken which I usually do. The bread is always fresh and not hard (like some other locations I’ve tried) the veggies are crispy fresh as well and they always cut my sandwich in half as I request. The price went slightly higher compared to last year but that’s understandable as prices are higher everywhere. But it’s still a good low price compared to some other places. And let me just say the food is very tasty 😋”

“Good food, great service. Walked in just before I started work at 12pm. Came for a quick lunch, dine in. Decided to try 4 tacos. Asada, carnitas, chicken, and fish. Tacos were really good, they came out quickly, tasted fresh. The salsa had a kick to it as I got the spicier of the two options. Carnitas and asada tacos stood above everything, and as for the fish taco, if that was Nemo I'm sure he wouldn't even be mad. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a good meal.”

“I recently got married this past August at PJ's and it was absolutely incredible! I am so happy I was able to find this place because it fit mine and my husband's personality so well. Dana was so wonderfully helpful throughout the entire process. She was so professional and patient with all the questions I had, and I had a lot! When we first visited PJ's it was in January and covered in snow but I could still picture how beautiful a wedding would be there. When we visited the second time it was for our menu tasting. It was important to me that I find a place that could have vegan options for me and PJ's definitely delivered. If I had requested it, they would have made the entire menu vegan but I opted for vegetarian with vegan options and the food was delicious! We got so many compliments that the food was not only delicious but also pleasantly unique for a wedding. We had a buffet style of enchiladas with cilantro rice, pesto pasta with vegetables and truffle potatoes, and the best beet salad I will ever eat. Even people who don't typically eat beets enjoyed this salad! The chef and staff did an amazing job! Everything was so well organized and put together exactly how we wanted. If you're thinking about getting married or even just dining in Truckee, PJ's is absolutely worth checking out. We could not have picked a better venue if we had to do this all over again. “I found this place while roaming through the city. Their isn’t any seating inside at the moment, they have Mini, Small, and Large bowls, I got the small which came with one topping for free. The large comes with 2 free toppings. Banana is included in most bases and as a topping but substituting for another fruit doesn’t seem to add extra so that’s a way to get more fruit overall. I got the tropical blend with Blueberries and it was better than I expected. The base wasn’t too sweet, and overall very hydrating. Definitely would come back when I get the chance.”
