“Was almost a horrible date with my wife. But thanks to the abundance of hospitality by Jasmine and our server, that date was rescued! She wouldn't leave until we were happy. And they were kind. I had an extra small burger and they removed it and replaced it. Even gave us a brownie Sunday ... Great great service ... Service is great when tested not just when regular service is appropriate. When people can troubleshoot and fix a problem keeping the customer not just happy but saving a date is very nice and appreciated. I couldn't wait to tell the world how happy I was with the service... I'm leaving this review before even leaving the table! Thanks”

“Had the wonderful privilege to travel out to Catalina Island. We had a wonderful boat ride and walked around the beautiful island. “Everytime my son is in town, Ichiban is your place to enjoy some Sushi. It's his and my daughter's favorite and for good reason. The service is great and they're on it! Food comes quickly after ordering it. The presentation of the food is great! And they check on us constantly, making sure we have everything we want and need. The restaurant itself could use a little updating but it's not horrible. Either way, I highly recommend it!! “Our server was informative about the menu and how to mix up the sauces with the green onions, daikon onion on the table. He was kind enough to investigate the loose plug on our table which was causing the heat to not turn on the hot plates for the broth. I always get the Kurobuta Pork Belly regular serving with Sukiyaki broth. There was also happy hour while we were there past 5. We got the $6 fried squid legs in addition to our dinner. The Sukiyaki broth isn't as rich as it once was. It's a little watered down now but the food still tasted good yesterday. Please bring back the Curry broth!”
