Meat was a little tough in places but the char was so perfect I almost didn’t care. I didn’t love the sides too much, but I didn’t hate them either. Exception was the mushroom soup which was perfect in every way except the portion size. If this wasn’t so far from the Bay Area I’d definitely make this a regular stop.”

“This is a spacious chic restaurant that has a whole day menu that includes brunch, lunch and dinner items. It’s my first time back since they reopen. The menu has not really changed. My pecan crusted salmon was crispy and paired well with the steamed cauliflower pearls. My best friend loved her fish of the day which was seared cod with patty pan squash and pickled red onion with fig mustard sauce. The beignets were as good as I remember!”

The mussels were by far my favorite part compared to the shrimp, although honestly, my favorite dish here was the garlic bread! It was so delicious. The service was nice but once you get your food you’re pretty much on your own because they don’t check back in on you.”

Got the double decker burger 🍔 with bacon 🥓 thin onion rings ( strings ) and the wahlbrewski 🍺 The burger was great a little small but great tasting ( perfect onions and pickles ) and some amazing bacon 🥓. The onion rings on the other hand did kinda suck ( just to thin ) would not get them again the brewski was bomb just the right amount of hopps would definitely come back and will.”

The reason for 4 stars is that they keep their rice hot and it makes the fish really warm. This is an easy fix and would significantly improve the overall flavor and quality of their bowls. I’m a huge fan of poke and have been to countless places all over California and I’ve never been served hot rice, definitely not ideal to eat warm raw fish. I’ll continue to return, but really wish they would change this.”
