“Yay, Jersey Mike's Subs has come to PV! It was PACKED on Friday at noon, but the line moved fast. I counted 8 employees working feverishly behind the counter, wow. Unfortunately, they were out of steak. I also wanted to try the new Portabella Mushroom Cheese Steak sandwich, but they didn't offer it here. So I got a #16 Mike's Chicken Philly on wheat bread and a #42 Chipotle Chicken Cheese Steak on Rosemary Parmesean bread instead. It took a while for them to prepare my order, but I didn't mind waiting because I knew it was freshly made. If I wasn't redeeming a gift certificate and coupon that required me to be in person, then I would have ordered beforehand using their app online. The food is delicious and the Chipotle was actually much sweeter than I expected. The Chipotle wasn't spicy at all--which was good for me to share with my elderly father who can't take the heat. It's a bit pricey at about $10 per sandwich for a regular size, but it's 7 inches and quite filling and freshly made.”

The egg flower soup has corn in it which adds a unique base flavor much better than the boring and bland egg flower soups most Chinese restaurants offer. The hot and sour soup is amazing and so is the sizzling rice soup. My husband and I came back multiple times to try a different array of dishes. Nothing has disappointed us! 100% recommend. So if you're craving great, nostalgic island-style cuisine, Mo's Hut is the place to go currently located at the corner of Hesperian Blvd & Paseo Grande in San Lorenzo as of July 2022. Their plate portions are VERY generous! Love that they offer side portions of ALL of the menu items that come in the plates. Their palusami is the BEST I've ever had! Char Siu pork is tender and seasoned well as are their other meat entrees like the teriyaki chicken & beef. The green bananas cooked in coconut milk is a favorite for me but their baked taro is the best paired with the palusami. Their chop suey is flavored with just the right amount of ginger, I love it! And their two baked island desserts are a must-have, can't leave without getting some of the pineapple pies and the pāpā. What's even better about their food, tastes SO MUCH better warmed up the next day! (If it lasts that long in your home!)”

She is so knowledgeable about everything on the menu and so personable. She made the whole dinner that much more fantastic. We had two different rissotos as well as the steak with wild mushrooms. They were all so very delicious! The mimosa flights were amazing and it was hard to just pick 4 flavors as there are so many awesome options.
