The only reason why I am giving this place a 4/5 is because the actual service is not up to par. After our food arrived, the waiter/ waitress wasn't tentive to refill our drinks, we had to flag the staff down for refills, extra napkins & the check. It would be understandable if it was busy, but sadly it wasn't; there were 4 tables occupied total & we were a total of 10 guests.”

“We randomly stopped in on their grand opening. We’ve driven by the location before it opened so we were excited for them to finally open. We were actually about to go to the one near the 210 fwy since the Ontario Mills one was closed already. As I was putting in the 210 location in my GPS, it showed me that this location was open. When we stopped in, we didn’t even know it was the first day open. The staff was really friendly, the decorations were super cute & festive, all the employees were tentative & wanted to make sure everything was to our liking! They accidentally put balsamic instead of BBQ on one of our pizza but they of course made us a new one with no hesitation. The pizzas came out great, toppings were spread out & the pizza was cooked perfectly! I wish I would’ve gotten names but shout out to the staff that worked the evening of the grand opening!”

They don't take reservations but if you call a few hours ahead they can put you on a waiting list to be seated if you have a large group. The food is good here. Seafood, steak, pastas, salads. They also serve alcohol and there is a bar too.”

The coffee is rich and smooth, and the non-dairy creamer, almond cashew adds a creaminess to a latte that almond or soy just can't capture. “I go to La Bodega often. The family who runs the place is very nice. Last weekend I went to buy some of the chicken that they roast outdoors in the parking lot as I often do and it took a while to get my order. The owner came outside and finished cooking my order himself and we had a nice conversation. When I left he apologized for the long wait and gave me double what I ordered and thanked me for being patient. The entire family that works there is innovative and very kind. I am always going there and trying new things. Thanks La Bodega for the excellent service.”

The recent addition of a gazebo structure makes for more comfortable seating until the sun drops behind the tall hotel wall next door. Wish they'd extend the flat patio further, hard to put your beer down on the tilted barrels on the sloped parking lot. Maybe they plan to reclaim those parking spots post-covid. Friendly folks.”
