“From the outside, this place looks like every other convenience/liquor store in the San Joaquin Valley. But once inside, and once you talk to the staff, you soon realize that this is a diamond in the rough. A surprising amount of merchandise is on hand, most of it standard convenience/liquor store fare, like cigarettes, liquor, chips, candy, lottery tickets, etc, but look a bit further and you'll also find t-shirts, more expensive bottles of alcohol, and of course, the most reliable Western Union service in all of Riverbank. And the staff is super-duper friendly! Sounds odd, but whenever I'm in Riverbank, I ALWAYS make it a point to stop in and say hi to the staff of Star Market.”

“I came across this place looking for Chili Cheese Fries that were not from Del Taco! What I ended up getting was much better and I WILL be ordering again as this gives me a more healthy alternative sodium wise to regular Chinese Food or Del Taco for that matter. I included a few photos and the first will be off of the ordering page of a website. I would have actually considered five stars, but my order was short the sauces in the photo. That being said, do not despair if it is missing as the meat is well marinated and cooked and carries plenty of flavor on its own. Translated: No complaints here. Moving on: I ordered two items: My dog can't eat poultry so I ordered a Junior Beef Bowl for him. I of course helped myself for tasting purposes as his account is bankrupt. Fantastic it was! Now, I enjoyed the Regular Chicken Bowl and darn, that was good! I was skeptical at first, but after I mixed it all together, it was good all alone, but I added some low-sodium soy as those sauce containers were missing. You will all like this for a light dinner meal! Expect typical "Sticky Rice" but it breaks up easily when you mix it! I'll be ordering again and give this place a shot!! I think you'll be pleased!”

“Use this place a couple times a month, quick easy pizza, especially if you have the app!!! Easy to customize and great deals! Best price around. Basil makes it taste way better but you have to ask. Wings are really good too! My only complaint is the pizza always seems undercooked, like they are in too much of a hurry. You can get it well done on the app or over the phone but even then seems under cooked. Also extra toppings ad up, wish they had a combo pizza like Costco. If you want a good greasy pizza, this is it! Perfect with root beer and movie night. Heats up good in the oven.”
