“Best Bun Bo Hue in town!!! Bun Bo Hue is the recommended bowl of noodle soup on the menu. You can order a small or large bowl. I personally like to order the large bowl but substitute the bun noodle with pho noodle. I highly recommend you try it. Just order Pho Bo Hue instead of Bun Bo Hue. The pho noodle offers a chewy texture which I like. I decline the cooked pork blood cubes which it comes with and opt for an extra pig knuckle instead. Don't forget to ask for the complimentary egg roll. They also have one of best shrimp egg rolls in town!!! The Bun Bo Hue soup is just plain delicious with authentic Vietnamese flavor. Be sure to add the veggies (thin cut lettuce, cabbage, bean sprout and spear mint) and let them soak in the hot soup. Squeeze some lemon into the bowl and enjoy a delicious bowl of sliced beef, pig knckles and pho noodle soup. Perfect for the blizzard cold weather that's been blanketing SoCal. The restaurant is cozy with seating inside and patio seating outside. Parking is limited inside the plaza so street parking is recommended. Restaurant closes at 6pm on weekdays and 8pm on weekends. The owner and staff are friendly and nice. This is one of my favorite restaurants.”

“Chicken and Waffle House stands alone on busy Arden Way. New owners as of January 2023 have freshened the interior, and given a fresh coat of paint to the exterior. This is a large restaurant currently only partially used and so has room to grow. The recent interior upgrades support their extensive menu for breakfast and lunch. Portions and prices are decent. Flavored coffees and lemonades are available with additional new food items being added. They are planning to stay open later for dinner service on the future.”

“Authentic South Indian Tamil restaurant, very accessible too. We had idlis, vada, kesari and buttermilk. The idlis alone were super filling and one portion of 3 idlis is usually enough for one person. The vadas were super crispy but had a lot of ginger flavor. The buttermilk was spicy, I would recommend getting it during a hot summers day.”

“If Camillus is the taco truck trailer that be parking on the side where the pumps are.. got dam this place is fire. The quesadillas, burritos, tacos and tortas are fire. They have all meats except cabeza and lengua, which I wish they had. When ever I eat out I always look for them choices. This place is a hidden gem. I think more like a local spot. Their food is very authentic. Whenever I travel out of town and stay at the Hampton Inn.. that is the spot for really good food.”

The steak I was expecting to be really small and not very good, I ordered rare. By the time I got home to Patterson I dug in. That was one of the best steaks and still cooked perfect. “You can call ahead of time so your order will be ready when you're there, since sometimes it gets busy. We ordered 3 birria popusas and one chicharon con queso. When I asked for the total, they stated they would tell me in person. The place is located in the convince store. I'm the back. Once you get there, they give you a number to take to the store cashier. We headed there, and our total for 4 popusas (3 with birria on it) was $22. I will that did catch me off guard and was definitely more than I expectedly. We went back to give them our receipt, and they handed our order right away. I will say they do give a large amount of birria on the popusas. The popusas only have cheese, but I will say they really stuffed it with cheese. Overall, all it was tasted, and I could see why they charged a bit higher for them. Would recommend you checking them out. They do have two small table for those that want to eat there. P.S. I asked about their birria pizza, and they said a medium is $30 and a large was $31 dollars.”

“While driving down San Pablo searching for something new to eat, El Tazumal Restaurant caught my eye. There was a decent sized parking lot right next to the restaurant so no need to fight or search for parking. Upon entering you can seat yourself or order takeout. The menu features a variety of Mexican and Salvadorean dishes, seafood included. And the waitress was very helpful and always ready to help us. The meals we ordered were delicious, full of flavor. I look forward to visiting again soon. Also when paying there's a variety of Salvadorean snacks and items available for purchase.”
