“Cute casual Korean and Vietnamese diner/deli. I ordered the tofu kimbap which was made to order, but they sometimes have pre-packaged food as well. I got the gimbap to go. It was a big portion, enough for one person for lunch. Their menu is small but everything sounds delicious. I will be coming back and trying other dishes.”

“Lets start that im not from here all the way from Indiana taking in food culture and ideas from places out west. I came for a quick burger and beer and all i can say is wow. The burger was cooked perfectly nice pink center juicy as ever! But don't forget the condiments on the burger were so fresh!! The garlic fries were super good and the staff was super friendly 😊. Definitely made me feel comfortable and at home. Definitely would come back and recommend this place if you're looking for a good beer and burger with fries 🤤. 10/10 very happy with my service here! Oh yeah they are dog friendly!!”

“This restaurant catered my grandmother’s 70th birthday & everyone enjoyed the food. I decided to stop by recently on my way home after rotation one evening to surprise my husband & kids with some delicious dinner. I cannot put into words the heaven that is RD’s calzone. When I picked up my order, (the calzone, spaghetti & meatballs, chicken parmesan, and fettuccini Alfredo), the hostess showed me all of my items to make sure they were correct. When I saw that calzone I had butterflies in my stomach like I was on a first date. I was able to get the food to the car but it all ended there. I HAD to try that calzone before heading home. And boy can I still remember the euphoria after that first bite. I begrudgingly returned the calzone to its box so I could drive home. On the way home I cast several longing glances to the passenger seat where that glorious calzone was placed…my family adored their food and I’ll be back many times to be sure!!!”

“Reasonably priced dishes and many to choose from. We ordered a Pho Hoa Sen, claypot rice, BBq Spring roll and Veggie Beef noodle soup. The soup got Pho was not as flavorful as other vegetarian pho I have tired before. But the claypot rice was amazing. The sauce combination was perfect to bring out the smokey taste of the rice. Note: They do charge for hot tea, only $1.”

“The place is a delight. Quick, convenient and friendly. The outer pig is seasoned correctly and fried to perfection. Small but humble spot and if you get there first thing in the morning you'll be able to hear the snap crackle and pop coming from the giant piles of salty goodness as soon as you walk in the door.”

“Such a cute and delicious place to visit. I had a vanilla latte and an almond-croissant pastry. Both were excellent, and the staff was kind enough to allow my dog and I to enjoy the atmosphere indoors when we decided to hang around. Will certainly return for the primary menu items.”

“Our server was really nice and patient. They kept the kitchen open for our late reservation. The food and drinks were amazing as well. Only managed to take a photo of the charred octopus because everything else smelled so great we devoured it all before taking a photo. We ordered enough food and drinks for like 4 people.”

“Situated in the historic Yorba Linda train depot, we stopped in for an afternoon treat. Polly's is well known for it pie, but offers a great menu for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. While we ordered the coconut creme and banana creme pies for ourselves, at the advice of our server, we tried the boysenberry pie Ala mode warmed up and WOW! We enjoyed that together and it was a race to the last bite. My wife, being an only child, is not good at sharing, more on that in another review, but each bite was better than the last. So the boysenberry is excellent, the coconut creme pie is subtle, finishing with a smooth coconut taste and the banana creme is as expected with all of the pies having a soft, flaky, buttery crust that had you eating g the edges because it was just that good. If you find yourself in the area, this is a must do.”

“Everything here from start to finish was excellent. Who doesn’t love starting a meal with three different French fry pairings, all crispy and delicious!? The burrata with trout roe and maple syrup is unreal. Sounds like such a strange combination of ingredients but they work in perfect harmony... and spread over the toasted sourdough is just to die for! The filet I ordered was so tender, soft, and perfectly cooked. I enjoyed every bite. We shared the creamed spinach, the broccolini, and the truffle Mac (a MUST!) Ended with the beignets and chocolate mousse... both exquisite. Would return again and again. Pricey, but you definitely get what you pay for here.”

“Tacos El Superior replaced our go to spot for carne asada nachos combined with the fact I’m not a fan of the beef birria fad (I prefer the OG goat birria), it took a long time to try them out. Anyway, a craving for nachos and an errand at a nearby UPS store and here we are. Ordered the asada nachos and a Al pastor taco and was pleasantly surprised. Nachos we basic. Cheese sauce, not shredded, some asada and cilantro as we held off on the onions. Sour cream and guac was missing from my GF’s perspective, but was just right in my opinion. Thankfully we had sour cream and an avocado at home for her :) The Al pasta had decent flavor and edible, but clearly not from and trompo. The pineapple pieces was a nice touch though. Best surprise was the salsas. Red was really spicy, but tasty and the green full of flavor. When I saw the salsa “policy”, it reminded me of King Taco. When I tasted the salsas, it confirmed it. All good for me though. Menu’s not identical, but they are closer when I have the craving. The asada here is tastier, so that much more reason to come back. Service was top notch at the drive through as well. Will have to try a few more menu items and will update my review accordingly. For now, thumbs up 👍”

“This showed up as a highly rated place and we liked it, too!! Delicious food, promptly served, reasonably priced with friendly and helpful services. We had California Burrito and Seafood Omelette with coffee and a mocha. All are nicely presented with delicious taste. The front desk lady and the nice busboy lady both offered to refill my coffee. Good convenient location, comfortable outdoor and indoor seating. Tables are promptly cleaned.”

“Not feeling good today, and all I wanted was a really good sandwich. Mission accomplished. We recently moved to Hemet and have yet to find favorites when it comes to food establishments, Downtown Deli definitely made my list. I ordered the Turkey BLT Avocado and Cheese with a side of potato salad, my daughter ordered a classic BLT with Avocado. The total was almost $40, so I was a little shocked at that and thought, this sandwich better be worth it. It was!! It was about a 15 minute wait before our order was ready and we were on our way home. I was actually really excited to open up the takeout box and get a look at this sandwich. Let me tell you, the sandwiches are HUGE! The first bite was full of just absolutely great flavor, honestly the BEST sandwich I've ever had!! The blend of salt, pepper, and oregano mixed with the avocado and fresh produce was just so freaking good. The potato salad was almost as good as my mamas and that says ALOT! It was just really so good. I thought 15 minutes was a long wait, but now I get it. These sandwiches are made with love and pride and you can taste it. During those 15 minutes I took some time to learn about the owner of the Deli, Stephen. I had to hold back tears after learning about how involved he was with his community and how loved he was by the community. He passed in 2019 and I'm just really happy that his legacy is being carried on. He would be so proud of the great job you are all doing at Downtown Deli, such a welcoming atmosphere, built with love for sure. I highly, highly recommend Downtown Deli.”

“My bf and I have been searching for a good Thai food spot since moving out to HB. We're big Thai food fanatics, honestly if we find the right place we'd probably be dining there once a week. I'm seriously addicted! So I'm happy to say that my experience at Mai Thai Restaurant did not disappoint! My bf and I dined here yesterday for the first time. They weren't too busy for it being a Sunday afternoon, which was nice. It looked like there was only one server working anyways so it's a good thing they weren't packed. The restaurant is located in an older strip mall that has ample parking so that won't be an issue. The restaurant does look super dark from the outside, honestly I was questioning if they were even open when we arrived. But don't be put off by their tinted windows and the barely noticeable open sign flashing. They're open! When we walked in they had a sign in the front advising customers to wait to be seated. Make sure you wait! There was a customer that tried seating himself after us and they made him go back and wait in line. So take the signs seriously. We were seated less then a few minutes from walking in though so there basically was no wait. The restaurant has a very dark vibe to it, kind of matches the way it looks from the outside. The black upholstered seats, mirrored walls and dim lighting makes me think it used to be a hookah lounge or something of the sort. I liked it though! Very different. The food is obviously the main point of this review so I'll move on to it. We ordered the following: Cheese wonton ($8.75), Thai fried rice ($12.75), Pad Thai ($13.75), Panang Curry ($13.75) and a large Thai tea to drink ($6). I'm actually not sure if we got the Crab rangoon or the cheese wonton. I know my bf ordered the Crab rangoon but when it was brought out to us it looked like the only filling was cream cheese so I'm assuming we got the cheese wontons instead. Either that or their filling has very little crab in it. Also, the sweet and sour sauce that came with it was a little watered down and thin. That would be my only complaint. Other than that everything else was delicious! The fried rice was cooked perfectly, Pad Thai had just the right amount of fish sauce in it so it didn't taste too fishy like some other places we've tried. The Panang was piping hot and tasty! Very spicy but we asked for medium so thats definitely what we got! Their Thai tea is amazing too - the right ratio of tea to cream so it wasn't too sweet or tea-like. The wait time for everything was pretty good too. From the time we were seated and ordered to the time our food arrived was probably in the span of maybe 10-15 minutes. Not bad. I'll definitely be coming back here in the future! I'm happy to have found a good Thai spot in the OC.”

“First time there and impressed with clean, modern facility and attentive staff. We over ordered not realizing the generous portions offered at very competitive prices. The Wakame for a mere $4 was enough for two as was the spicy Edamame for not much more. The salmon sashimi combination was a full meal in itself and the salmon was excellent in terms of taste and texture. The Misaka roll is popular for a reason and is an explosion of taste if you can handle a little wasabi and take a whole piece at once. We are world travelers and quite discerning when it comes to restaurant food. This one is a keeper!”
