“Knowledgeable staff, long wait. Thank you for offering a low cost vaccine option. I really appreciate it. I got there at 10:15 on a Friday in the summer and got assigned a number in the 40s for vaccines. They told me I would probably get called around noon, and it was accurate. There were no parking spots in their lot in the morning, but there were plenty in the afternoon. If you live nearby I would recommend arriving without your pet in the morning to sign in and get a number and then returning with your pet later. It’s not obvious what to do when you arrive: walk up to the counter and fill out a form. Remember the number they give you and then come back when your number is called. They’ll announce it in the parking lot, but they won’t call your phone. If you miss your turn you’ll be the next in line any time before 3pm that same day. I got called at 12:15 and was done with two vaccines (the max you can get typically) by 12:45. The vet staff was knowledgeable and helped me we determine which were the best vaccines to do that day and how to space them out. The whole session involved some waiting: to figure out which vaccines, go get them, enter the paperwork, and pay. So be prepared if you have an anxious pet—in total we were in the store for 30 min. Note: they’re only doing 30 pet exams per day so get there early to secure a spot. They were seeing exam #12 around 12:30. As long as you do a weight check with them once a year, you can pick up prescription preventable meds for the store any day, not just on the clinic days.”

“Not feeling good today, and all I wanted was a really good sandwich. Mission accomplished. We recently moved to Hemet and have yet to find favorites when it comes to food establishments, Downtown Deli definitely made my list. I ordered the Turkey BLT Avocado and Cheese with a side of potato salad, my daughter ordered a classic BLT with Avocado. The total was almost $40, so I was a little shocked at that and thought, this sandwich better be worth it. It was!! It was about a 15 minute wait before our order was ready and we were on our way home. I was actually really excited to open up the takeout box and get a look at this sandwich. Let me tell you, the sandwiches are HUGE! The first bite was full of just absolutely great flavor, honestly the BEST sandwich I've ever had!! The blend of salt, pepper, and oregano mixed with the avocado and fresh produce was just so freaking good. The potato salad was almost as good as my mamas and that says ALOT! It was just really so good. I thought 15 minutes was a long wait, but now I get it. These sandwiches are made with love and pride and you can taste it. During those 15 minutes I took some time to learn about the owner of the Deli, Stephen. I had to hold back tears after learning about how involved he was with his community and how loved he was by the community. He passed in 2019 and I'm just really happy that his legacy is being carried on. He would be so proud of the great job you are all doing at Downtown Deli, such a welcoming atmosphere, built with love for sure. I highly, highly recommend Downtown Deli.”

If you need a Rosca for Día de Reyes, I strongly recommend placing an order for one of theirs!! I like the one that comes cream filled! But I’ve had the traditional one, and that’s good too! I used to hate roscas because I thought they had to be dry and sticky. But theirs are so good. So moist. And fresh. I love it. Skip the trip to the grocery store. Order their batches of concha’s for your next party, office meeting, coffee date, etc.”

I first met Sam when I went into the Brokaw showroom. Sam is very professional, knowledgeable and helpful. When it came to informing me of all the choices I had, he listened to me and the needs for my project. Unlike many salesman Sam did not try to upsell anything or persuade me to spend more than I wanted to. He arranged for their estimator, Milan (?), to come out and take measurements. He was also very professional and courteous. Then came installation day... Xavier and his assistant arrived at my house and they too were kind, respectful and very professional. “This place is honestly the best place to go to if you need to fix your car on a budget. I'm a full time student with a low income and caring for my disabled mother, so fixing my car is very low on my priority list when there are other things to worry about like eating and paying rent. So I have an '03 Mitsubishi gallant and it was rounding up close to it's first 100k miles and have been told their timing belts tend to be the first things to go, and that will F' up the engine. So here I am hoping and praying for my car to hold on a little longer, while I aquire some type of cash. I had gotten estimates from a few places ranging from 600-800. I had only came here because I remember my dad taking me here a few years back and had given him a good deal on his car, so there I went one more estimate wouldn't hurt. I took my mom since she's the negotiator of the family but honestly there was no need. The owner Jose is a hella cool guy who was straight up about everything I explained my situation and he said no worries I can do that for alot cheaper and a 1 year warranty. Like I said the owner was very friendly as well as his workers and they were all very knowledgeable in their line of work. He told me it would be done by Saturday took it in late Friday and if anything he'd give me a call just to let me know if he found something that also needed repair. He ended up calling me to tell me my hoses needed fixing since the new timing belt would put a lot of pressure to the old tattered tubes and could cause them to tear and create more issues. He did this with no extra charge. He even fixed a dead light in my headlight for free. This guy really helped a girl out honestly. He checked my a/c cuz I was having issues with it no problem. The original estimate is what i payed no hidden fees no nothing! Honestly you who's reading this and wondering should I come here DO IT. You won't regret it this guys work is hands down bloody good and the work environment is professional and he can refer you to other places if need be. I'M EXTREMELY HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE I GOT. This is for sure my go to spot for my repairs from now on and for sure I'm recommending my friends and family. Thanks alot Jose customer for life here :)”
