“UPDATE TO THE GRAND OPENING. I want to preface this review with the info that we are not a business nor a regular customer to this business and still they treated us as the most important customer they ever had. The wife saw a commercial on TV and mentioned that MJB has opened a store in Woodland. She is very interested in learning to weld and manufacture metal works as well as repair and modify metal items in the home. I am too!! We spent almost all day at the Grand Opening, had lunch, also supplied by MJB Welding, met with many people in the business of welding, fabrication and Reps from the Miller Welding Company who gave classes on the different types of welding, the differences in the machines and the technology that is used to make the welding more consistent and more automatic, from my viewpoint. In any case I tried the Miller Mig Welder and realized just how much I have to practice and learn all over again. I was watching some of the professionals welding pieces of metal and marveled at the consistency and smoothness of the weld. Believe me it is really something to see a person who really knows what they are doing take 2 pieces of metal and make them one. We really appreciated the time and effort everyone at MJB Welding, and Miller Welding, took to help us and explain in laymen's terms, as much as possible regardless that we were not pros in the business. Everyone is very helpful and very friendly. If you are interested in welding, regardless if you have any experience or just curious, I know you will be very happy you came to this or any of their other locations in Northern California. This is a local business run by a family who treats their employees and importantly their customers with respect and care. Everyone we talked to really enjoys working at MJB Welding Supply. Also, We Won a Welder made by Miller in the raffle. Really excited to get it next week. I also want to Thank everyone a MJB Welding supply including Tim, Chuck (who helped us a lot during the Grand Opening), and everyone at the Woodland store. “I damaged my prop badly over the weekend. I called Delta Propeller while in the process of calling around for pricing. I talked to Doug of whom was very helpful over the phone. I told them that I had a difficult schedule so Doug went out of his way to meet me at the shop early in the morning so I could drop off the prop. When I got to the shop I also spoke with Brian. Brian went into depth regarding the welding and balancing needed to get my prop back to normal. Brian went above and beyond to get me taken care of! I received a quick turn around on my prop and Brian was even nice enough to install it for me. You don't really see many of these family business anymore that go out of their way to make sure their customers are taken care of. Don't waste your time calling around.
