(January 27, 2019, 8:05 pm)This place is an unexpected gem. It's like a little, historic town with an old service/fuel station, blacksmith shop, one-room schoolhouse, and fire station, as well as an 1800s house. Authentic items everywhere. It's like stepping back in time. What an amazing spot!

Historians will love the detailed displays of what life was like back in the early 1900's up to present day. Kids will love the interactive displays of the geological history of the area and the dark room that shows the florescent colors that certain rocks display when a black light is presented. The general museum is free with a more detailed guided tour offered for a modest price. Located next to the Adams county fair grounds makes it a convenient and easy place to find and enjoy. Check their website for museum times and tour prices.
