  Going in for a wax is always terrifying. It had been well over five years since my last Brazilian wax. Dottie was able to calm me down and walk me through the whole process. I found her to be super knowledgeable of the different types and has great tricks to make you"forget" what you are really doing. Wiggling the toes!!! It works! Trust me! I also found the way she was so engaging to really help with me being anxious! Seriously by the time she was done I hadn't even realized that she had finished! I will be back for sure!

  The first time I visited Dottie, my appointment was for a Brazilian wax, I had an awesome experience! I was referred to her by my daughter.
  
  I was a little skeptical, I didn’t know what to expect?Because I really trust my daughter’s recommendations! And
  She hasn’t steered me wrong yet !!!????
  
  I went ahead and set an appointment ????! As for me and the experience I had...Zen Studios is the only place of its kind !!
  
  Dottie prices are very reasonable , she’s extremely professional, she’s really fun and full of positive energy!! She’s flexible, very prompt, very attentive and knowledgeable!!
  
  I felt very comfortable with her. The room is intimate yet very open, and it allows in lots of sunlight. When I got the Brazilian wax, I barely felt any pain. She talks you through the whole experience.
  I believe I’m in it for Life !????

  This was my first waxing experience. I had preconceived notions based on stories I had read. I was anxious when I got there, expecting the worst. Dottie put me at ease right away. Her studio is so calming and she is an amazing person. This was a fantastic experience and SO much more than a great wax. I highly recommend Dottie. You will not be disappointed. Definitely more than a 5-star experience!

  I’ve been wanting to get a Brazilian wax for the longest time, but was always so scared of the pain associated with it. After finding a pretty awesome Groupon with Dottie and reading her reviews, I took the plunge.
  
  As soon as I walked into her studio, I felt more at ease (still quite nervous though - I mean it’s a Brazilian!) and she was so kind. She told me what I should expect and that she is quick, clean and most importantly good at what she does.
  
  We started off with normal conversation and she gave me tips on how to make the process less painful in certain areas (the toe wiggles work!). What I enjoyed most out of this entire experience, is that she is so spiritual. Our conversation made me feel at ease, made me curious and gave me chills to be honest.
  
  Before I knew it, the wax was over and I survived my first Brazilian! But most of all, I felt relaxed, reassured and leaving with some sort of a small connection to the woman I just met an hour before. This was an experience that was more than I was expecting, but it was amazing!
  
  Thank you Dottie for providing me with a service that was easy, less painful than anticipated and completely comfortable. I will definitely be returning for future services!
