UCHealth Urgent Care - Thornton

I came in with my one year needing to get checked out. We checked in online and got called in very quickly. We were able to wait at home until it was our turn and the text communications were excellent.

Everyone we spoke with was wonderful, kind, and very helpful. We weren't there too long which was great. The medication we needed was out of stock but they quickly got the prescription sent over to a nearby pharmacy for us and we were on our way.

No one ever WANTS to go to Urgent Care but if the need arises, you're in good hands at UCHealth Thornton.

PA Neil Smith and nursing staff were all flawless. Extremely caring, kind, competent, professional, knowledgeable, attentive—you name it! :) They were all truly concerned about my health. They weren’t just going through the motions, so to speak, like so many medical providers I’ve seen. There was zero wait time ( Sat. eve) at any point. Greeted warmly and immediately checked in at front desk, even tho it was a minute or two before they close at 8!! It’s like night and day compared to all other urgent care centers I’ve ever been to (and many non-urgent care offices as well). Beautiful facility, looks extremely well equipped and maintained. Room spacious, comfortable, private and very clean. Could not recommend more highly!

Last minute check in! VA sent me there because they couldn’t see me til next week! Everyone from the front desk to the Dr. were fantastic. Dr Lorraine was amazing in making me feel like my issue mattered and took the time to explain some recommendations, made me feel important! I’d def recommend. Thanks so much.

I took my 3 year old son there last night and we were seen quickly. My son was nervous and resistant at first to acknowledging or speaking with the doctor but the doctor that we saw was very patient with him and by the end of the visit he had us all smiling. Excellent patient care! Would highly recommend.

Check in was easy, was able to get in right away. Clean, modern facility w/ lab and other medical amenities. Appreciate the nurse and provider's listening ear and kindness. Took clear steps to diagnose and explain treatment. Treated me better than my own PCP! Many thanks to all.
