My next door neighbor had an emergency. All her alarms were going off and these very nice, very competent Firemen came quickly, fixed everything and let her know what they did was their job and they were happy to help. You can do a job or you can demonstrate that you are a professional. These were PROFESSIONALS. We are so lucky to have them nearby. Hope the rest of the day is quiet for them and the chili is good for lunch.

On behalf of our entire family, I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Station 4 for taking care of my baby sister and her two children who were dropping off recyclables when they were involved in an MVA on 8/26 right in front of the station. Of all places to be in an accident, it happened to be in the vicinity of first responders. "Thank you" does not seem to be enough, but may you all know how much it means to us that you were there and took care of them. Again, thank you for your assistance not only with my family, but for all you do in serving the community!

Extremely nice and very helpful. I felt embarrassed having to call because I really didn't feel as though my situation was as urgent as someone else's would have been at the same time. But they were very calming and made me feel comfortable about it. Every single one of them were professional, kind. Awesome at their jobs! Thank you!!

These are some of the nicest people I've ever met. We took our recycling to the drop off at this firehouse on 128th Street and some of the firefighters were outside washing the truck. My son, who just turned 3, loves fire trucks so we got out to watch them. When they saw the excited little kid standing on the sidewalk watching them, they invited us over. They showed him inside the truck, all the tools they use and even extended the 105 foot ladder on top of the truck all the way out for him to see. To top it off, one of the guys came out with glow in the dark fireman hats and some stickers. My son shared the stickers with his friends when we got home and has only taken the hat off to sleep. He has told anyone who will listen about how awesome it was. It made his day/week/month/year. I really appreciated them taking the time out to make a little boy happy. Rock on Thornton Fire Department.
