I hired Affordable Flooring to install and refinish new flooring for a house I was getting ready to sell. They were incredibly helpful, including helping me add MORE work after we had everything scheduled (and bailing me out of a big time problem). I had new laminate and carpet installed, as well as my hardwoods refinished. All of the crews were hard working (even worked on Christmas!) and finished ahead of schedule. I was first impressed with the wide array of flooring choices available at Affordable. My kitchen, dining room, entry and bathroom floors posed some challenges because they lie atop a cement slab that no longer could be described as level. In the planning stages, we discussed the options for various aspects of the process, and I was satisfied with the answers I got in light of these challenges. My estimate was a fair amount less than that from another retail installer. While any project of this magnitude is going to cause some disruption for the residents, Affordable was flexible when it became apparent that an extra day was going to be needed to complete it, for which I was grateful. Although some extra costs became necessary, I feel like this was a good value. I'm extremely satisfied with the work required to level the base, and with the new flooring, which was installed with great care. The transitions are smooth, the layout is beautiful, and the edges are flawless.
I'm quite happy with my new flooring, and hope that others will consider Affordable for their flooring needs.
