I've been a frequent for injects for over a year now. The staff at the surgery center are hands down the best I've ever experienced. The nurses are professional, courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable. My 2 doctors Dr. Wallace and Dr. Vallore are great. I had a problem with the sedation taking awhile to kick in, and they modified and wait a few minutes for it to be effective. They clearly care about the patients. The nurses here, I have to say again are great! I would recommend this center for anyone with chronic pain! Thank you for making me feel comfortable and at ease!
Hands down, the best. Dr. Vellore and his team run this center like a well oiled machine. Exactly how I already feel having just come out of my procedure. I admit, I was not in the best spirits walking in (in pain) and the staff did what they could to ease my worries and make me comfortable. I’m just so grateful right now I want to cry. Back to work I go come Monday!
During the past three weeks, I have had two SI joint injections performed by Dr. Drew Trainor at the Greenwood Ambulatory Surgery Center. The first procedure did not go as well as I had expected and in retrospect, it all boiled down to lack of information prior to the procedure. I felt that, as the patient, it was not up to me to know enough to ask the right questions.
However, I am very happy to say that the surgery center, the office and Dr. Trainor himself called me to find out the facts for the unsatisfactory review in an obvious attempt to rectify the situation.
The second procedure was as different as night and day - from the first encounter with the staff (although basically the first time the staff was excellent also), to Pat who took my blood pressure and made sure I was comfortable, to a different anesthetist (from the first time) who informed me of every single thing he was doing and why, to Dr. Trainor who exhibited professional empathy over my initial unpleasant experience, to Deanna and Jordyn who expertly saw to my needs after the procedure - I could not have had a more pleasant experience. I credit the office staff and those at the surgery center, along with Dr. Trainor's follow-up for handling this situation perfectly the second time.
I would definitely recommend Dr. Trainor and his staff to anyone in need.
P.S. One day later I am feeling relatively pain free and confident that we are on the right track towards eliminating or at least considerably reducing my chronic lower back pain. Thank you, Dr. Trainor!
