Bob Croft is Awesome! Our Daughter has been going for lessons for 4 years and has grown so much over that time! it brings us a lot of joy to listen to her play. She looks forward to every week! We never have to remind her of her lessons.. she looks forward to going so much she reminds us! We are so so unbelievably happy that we found Bob, we are very grateful for the way he has encouraged her to play the music she loves.
I am new to lessons with Bob, so far I have been impressed that he has taken time to first assess my needs, then build a lesson plan that best fits my level of talent. He has shown that he wants to help me play to my style and taste, not just his. I highly recommend Bob for private lessons.
Bob is a great teacher and an awesome guitarist. Every time we had a scheduled lesson it was the highlight of the week. I say this due to having gone through several guitar teachers who did not necessarily give the real deal as far as teaching goes.
Lots of times I had encountered teachers whom had cut corners or would miss out big and important concepts however once I had finally started with Bob all was well. My skills dramatically improved not only as a guitarist but also as a musician. Before taking lessons with him I honestly had no idea which direction to take my personal training for guitar but now I basically have a road map of what I need to do in order to become a formidable player (albeit a never ending path).
No matter the style of music that I was interested in learning whether it was classical or jazz or whatever, Bob was always prepared with some form of instruction.
I highly recommend you get in contact with him if you are truly serious about improving your musical skills. Even if you are a casual player just looking for something more it would still be a rewarding experience.
Thanks Bob!
Bob is an excellent guitar teacher! I have a B.A. in music and came to him for some additional jazz/theory lessons and he was able to teach me new scales, chords, and progressions that I had not known. He is patient, friendly, and he can work with students of any level.
Highly Recommend!!

Bob taught guitar to my daughter for years (we had to stop because her schedule was too busy). He is an excellent teacher - fun and very patient with all ages. She loved that he could teach her to play songs she was listening to on her radio or iPhone. And I was happy that she was motivated to practice because she liked the music. He also gave my husband a couple of lessons, which he greatly enjoyed.
