One of the loveliest little museums with beautiful and spacious grounds, perfectly re-constructed farm buildings, and live farm animals. One of my favourite places in Littleton.
Incredibly charming historical living-farm and museum. The museum has a wonderful collection of Littleton history and artifacts as well as more contemporary artistic exhibits. There’s even a whole section dedicated to the kiddos. The farm has a multitude of livestock and several gardens scattered across the complex. It’s October and there was an entire field of pumpkins with a super cute little display set up for pictures.
This is an awesome place for the whole family. The historical farms are great and the people who volunteer there were very friendly and interesting.
Littleton Museum is such a welcoming place. Its quiet surroundings are very calming. It is fun to see the little kids show such enthusiasm for animals. The place takes you back to a quieter time when families and safety were automatically expected. And it’s outdoors!
What a hidden treasure. The museum is fairly impressive for being in a small town like Littleton, and the adjacent old farm buildings and fields with horses, pigs, cows, sheep, chickens, geese, etc. make it a super cool place to visit. Awesome place to take kids. We also got to see a demonstration from a blacksmith making key chains. All this, and no admission charge at all. Truly a gem in Littleton worth checking out!
