    About five years ago I herniated my back due to the negligence of a CrossFit gym not watching me do a deadlift properly and not accommodating for my height, and this was just a 60lbs weight. I never thought I could lift heavy weights again due to that. I’ve tried Olympic lifting classes at another gym, unfortunately similar things happened where the coach did not have the right experience and did not watch as closely or make the right recommendation.

    When I came into Mile High Barbell , I was skeptical about the program, but I have been at it for a few months now and I’m yielding great results so far. Marguerite is a great coach and has the right experience to coach and motivate her students. She has extensive knowledge and accommodates the powerlifting moves based off how your body is made up and previous ailments. I’m getting much stronger and have had no issues with pain. This is a great program and I highly recommend it

    When I first walked into Mile High barbell I had never touched a barbell before, I was very nervous since I really had no experience at all, Marguerite made me feel very comfortable and she took her time with me to teach me the movements. With time I was able to go from the training bar to the 35 lb bar and then started to add weight to it. With Marguerites help I've been able to feel very comfortable under the bar and keep learning at every class.
    Marguerite is a wonderful coach with so much knowledge and patience, so if you are looking to either start or improve your barbell skills she is the one to go to!!

    Superb coaching, Marguerite is adept at training athletes at all levels, from novice (like myself) to competitive. They have cultivated an environment where anyone can feel open to learning weightlifting.The level of expertise in training is equally matched by the amazing community! 10/10

    Marguerite has done wonders for my olympic weightlifting and overall strength. The coaching is on point and the atmosphere is energetic and friendly. 10 outta 10 highly recommend!
