Over two years ago, when I went onto Medicare, I looked for a local company that would support a Medicare-insured CPAP customer. Getting set up with Lincare back then was rough, I admit... a lot of disorganization. The company simply did not act like an organized customer service-oriented outfit. Once I finally got set up, though, it has been smooth sailing, with supplies coming on time -- no problems, no glitches.
I had a second sleep study done recently, with a full mask recommended (I had been using a nasal mask). Realizing this meant going through what I'd experienced 2 years ago, I wasn't looking forward to the ordeal. Surprise! I had a very good experience! I dealt with Vicky, who processed the special order mask recommended from the sleep study. Vicky kept me informed, through several phone calls, of the following: 1.) that the order went through, 2.) she kept me informed as to the order status, until finally 3.) fitting me with my new mask, and sending me home with a copy of the transaction and literature on keeping my CPAP gear clean. I'm a happy customer because I was treated professionally every step of the way. If Lincare did this with every one of its customers, it would be the #1 DME company in the country. One customer at a time.
