Volunteer was amazing. Thank you for serving!!
Great spot to do some short hikes. The Nature Center was cool, great for little kids. The host was super nice and very educated on the trails in the area. Trails in the area are fairly family friendly compared to other trails in the Boulder area, but still some great views.
This little-known gem on the summit of Flagstaff is run by osmp volunteers Fridays through Sundays during the summer. Need a trail map or recommendations? Need some activities for your kids? Want to be able to identify local flora and fauna? Want to know where the nearest bathroom is? The Flagstaff Nature Center can help you out!
(Note that non-Boulder County residents have to pay a $5 parking fee at Boulder Mountain Parks, so be sure to bring a check or cash, exact change).
Nice friendly people dispensing useful information
Great spot, friendly volunteers with lots of local knowledge.
Includes some stuffed local animals, the mountain lion and bear are impressive, as are all the birds of prey.
Worth a visit when up near Flagstaff.
