La Mariposa Restaurant & Margarita House

Erika was a awesome friendly bar tender! I had a house 44oz margarita and the crispy chili reanos plate! It hit the spot 😋 the orange spicy sauce was great.

La Mariposa is a great place for having dinner. They have several vegetarian options (two burritos, enchiladas, tacos, and some appetizers) and some gluten free options. We had the spinach enchiladas, the veggie burrito and the elotes as an appetizer. Everything here is delicious and tasty but a little bit greasy. And if you like margarita they have ALL of them. The inside of the restaurant is beautiful and the staff is very friendly.

Pretty restaurant inside. They have a bar too. Prices are good. The food is not bad. Not too authentic but good. Except my pile of beans was pretty small. Like 2 cm high. The service is good.

I’ve been to La Mariposa at least 12 times since they opened last year and always been treated with amazing service, outstanding food, and one of the best Mexican Restaurant experiences I have ever experienced.

Their margaritas keep me coming back for more, (not to mention the rewards program… free margarita on national margarita day? )

Well, the Birria tacos are my best friend. The owner was at the bar tonight and it was great to meet him and wish I had interviewed this business sooner, but I’m glad I waited because now I can really detail how much I appreciate this business.

Please visit this place, it is hands down the best and most unique restaurant experience Boulder has to offer.

La Mariposa is a great dining experience, friendly staff, amazing food, and fast service. Would recommend coming here to dine. Overall very happy with the experience and definitely will be visiting again. One of the top places to dine in Boulder!
